While I'm not familiar with this particular game, I am familiar with it's publisher Character Soft which was actually the former video game subsidiary of the Sanrio company. A lot of what they published were genuinely good attempts at making fun games instead of being a cash in on the characters as was the standard for tie-in video games, and while not all of their releases were home runs they are still interesting to look back on and provide some quality experiences. Sanrio World Smash Ball looks to be one of those hidden gems, really cool to see this be showcased and I would be down to play in a tournament for this game.

Yeah! I can't really explain why it clicks with me so well, but it does! I mean a lot of this was kind of always there from the beginning with Pong...but it's the little things like the special moves, smashes, etc. that really make it just that much more appealing given that there's strategy in when to use all of that!
Ebaribuu is OP, and it's a shame that Sanrio doesn't care about using them for anything else outside of this game! 😄
WHY did I make the tier list? That's...a good question actually!
I do think people get a kick out of them but I may have had just a FEW too...few...characters to really make it work effectively!
