The beach has ton of rocks bring your water shoes.
The people were awesome, so friendly.
I stayed at a hostel and it was the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at.
The night life is super sketchy- be careful!
    The surrounding area absolutely beautiful.

Just went to Jaco for vacation with the family. It had been over 6 years since we'd been back and I loved it. Planning to go back soon. We stayed about 15 minutes outside of Jaco in the most adorable 2 bed apartment style hotel that came with a fully stocked kitchen with nice pool and grounds and it was so cheap.

Hey Larry - sorry for the delayed reply!
It depends on where abouts you are staying. Could be anytihng from $400 per month to upwards of $1,000 per month depending on the style and location

I don't have a clue, but as a Tico that knows a little about pricing in housing in the country. My bet would be around $180.000 for a house like that with 2 or 3 bedrooms. From the looks of it it's a pretty average home, a little on the small side but perfect for a family of 3, probably 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a dining/living area, maybe a terrace on the back side. But since it's in a condo it would be very safe that's for sure. They may have some open areas like a small park with a ranch or something (just my guess from my experience in condos in the beach areas of CR) for the people living in there. So honestly I would say it's a pretty fair price. Rent could go for like $1500 a month.

I wish just one time one of these guys would be truthful. I built and operated a very successful B&B near Jaco in the mountains. We sold an average of 40 weeks per year which is quite good. We hosted all kinds of groups from families to groups of guys competing to see who can sleep with the most girls to the "Sport Fishermen" from South Florida with the same idea all taking a picture of the same Marlin from Los Suenos or the Delrey to show the wifey in Pompano. Just come clean Justin and you'll triple your business. " Hi, My name is Justin DeBoomBoom and I came to CR in 2009 and hooked up with more young beautiful girls in 6 nights than in my whole life. After three years here paying $60 a shot I decided to settle down with a pretty young thing from San Jose, bought my new girl a set and all is good. " Any idiot can find a restaurant or condo, they want a hot young thing when they arrive. And he's up there, what's that, Hawaiian noises
Bangin' on the bongos like a chimpanzee
Oh, that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Get your money for nothin' get your chicks for free

Exactly...well said. Regarding the beach...one of the worse in CR. Manuel Antonio, 45 minutes south of Jaco, is so much better.
