How durable and sturdy is the blue clamp??? It looked like it had way more play in it for it to be consistently reliable.

Its a Mastercraft product so not overly durable. The price was right, it was light to carry and it does the job sufficiently for now though. Thanks for watching.

Aren't you worried about snow load? There is not much structure to the roof.

It should be fine. If it's a heavy snow year I could always add a vertical support in the centre. Thanks for the comment.
