Even in Japan, even with the freedom afforded by fame, it's still quite significant for a person to embrace that kind of androgyny instead of conforming to more mainstream standards. Whenever I get crushed by the pressure in the US of *every majority* telling me to stop being who I am, I remember Avu is who Avu is, and I refuse to back down.

Avu-chan was a bit sick you can tell in the begining warm up. But still, made it the best. The First Take is a great channel to watch your favorite japonese artists singing.
Btw that very last note is crazy hard to pull off because you have to be able to transition between falsetto (head voice) and chest voice which is ridiculously difficult to do without pausing
