Thanks for the review, I've been curious about this one. Don't know if you've gotten a chance to try Afnan Historic Olmeda, but I just got it yesterday. Really impressed so far. It's an EDP that's sort of an amalgamation of familiar fragrance profiles that have different people drawing comparisons to Bleu de Chanel, to Office, to Sauvage. I broke it in as my out of the shower scent last night and I'm still getting soft wafts of it this morning.
As a big fan of Sedley, I love this one just as much! So good! It’s my SOTD. For me, this one lasts quite a bit longer than my Sedley I had.
This thing is soo good. That Grapefruit ginger blend is crazy!! I think I can comfortably sell Sedly and buy and backup of Legacy.
Maahir Legacy is a hit! I get compliments whenever I wear it. I’ve had it for about two weeks and it’s generally a back to back day Scent for me. I love this juice. I want a bottle of Sedley to see how it compares.
I haven't smelled sedley but this reminds of me tone down version of legend EDP. I'm getting alot of fierce vibe from it. The opening got the dry spicy fresh smell that quickly dries down to Fierce vibe. Mind you I've worn this 3 days in a row.

i literally just got this during the week. i watched someone vid a week or so ago who talked about this. i found it on amazon and got it in this week. i love this. i had sedley and wanted to put it back in my collection but im not in a rush now. this stuff is good..

I’ve had this one for some time now and I love it .. I normally don’t get a lot of compliments in public but I had a lady come up to me and she said I hate to interrupt you but whatever you wearing smells really good .. I do agree with it being alil more powdery but it settles. It really shined on an 80 degree day. It doesn’t quite have the fizziness that you get with sedley .. but for the price difference and how close.. it’s a now brainer.

An awesome and cost effective alternative to Sedley sounds extremely appealing. I just wish I didn’t find the style of that bottle kind of tacky.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t get the sea notes in Legacy that I do in Sedley. I feel like Legacy is much more bright than Sedley which I find more aquatic

They just smell the same , legacy had more lime at the beginning after that they smell 95% the same , I prefer legacy at the dry down

Interesting that you’ve layers the 2.. bet it works! I’ve seen Sedley 4.2 as low as $170 on discounters. A 75ml for $140.
what are the clones of layton and pegasus that you have? I also own this lattafa from like a week now, for the first time my rookie nose thought it was weird but the thing is as it grows on me its just a bit of a oriental freshie that smells different from your typical fresh cologne. For the price I think its very good and I love the bottle.

I got a sample of Sedley a few weeks back and fell in love. Lattafa Maahir Legacy was so cheap I just bit the bullet. When the bottle arrived yesterday I sprayed them both on my wrists to compare and I was pretty let down. Maahir Legacy smelled like you sprayed Sedley on a person who smokes cheap cigarettes. It was very off-putting off the jump tbh. That bad smell lasted for about an hour or two until I stopped smelling my wrists. Some time past and I smelled the wrist with Maahir Legacy and I had to do a double take. It smelled so close to Sedley. The Sedley wrist had faded away by that time but I couldn't stop smelling the Maahir Legacy wrist for the rest of the night. Even in the morning I woke up and smelled it again and it was still there. Not sure where I got that off-putting cheap tobacco smell at first but maybe it just needed to air out a little lol

It starts to separate itself from Sedley in the drydown. Sedley gets to a nice fresh, woody place whereas this stays more similar to the opening. I prefer Sedley's drydown a lot more , but it's all personal taste .
Additionally, I am one who really couldn't care less about the box/presentation 99% of the time. This is a rare case where the bottle is shit. It's super clunky and picking it up is awkward.
I highly agree on this one. It's very linear until the very end.
To me the dry down gets kinda funky smelling. I liked sedley but didn't LOVE it so I picked up legacy and while close, it never develops into something better or as good as the opening.
