Nothing to do with video format. I mean, I have resolve on Manjaro Linux (Arch) on desktop, and on Fedora 37 Jam on laptop. On desk, any files in dnxhr 4k50 or prores are recognized in Resolve very well, but on my Fedora laptop exactly the same files are recognized on as audio files, like in yours. So that the Resolve 18.1.3 bug. And that's happened only after the last resolve update to 18.1.3, as my prev version of Resolve 18 recognized the same files on my laptop (fedora) very well.
Interesting... Each version of Resolve that I've worked with, starting with 18 and each subsequent patch had the same behavior as what I showed in the video... however, after 25+ years working with computers, I'm not all that surprised that it works for some and not for others. Legend! Took me way too long trying to get this work. Only issue is DNxHD can turn a 500mb file into 28gig! Still better than Win10 VM.
