Rest assured that this author will find out! Built in 1907, the Mauretania had a long and storied carrier, but by the 1930s, with the introduction of the Oceanic and Queen Mary, the ship was obsolete by a ??? margin. Despite many, many attempts, including a letter from the then United States President, she was taken form service and supposedly scrapped. Her Cunard White Star ??? are also still around. With the beautiful Titanic serving as a hotel in London, while the Olympic reimagined as a state of purgatory in Newcastle until she was converted into a cruise ship and given an updated power plant."
