"Years after allegedly being scrapped, the Cunard Liner Mauretania was found this morning, deserted and adrift near Southampton. At Seven O'Clock this morning, so the story goes, a tugboat was headed out to sea when it happened upon the Mauretania. Despite allegedly being at sea with no maintenance since 1935, the ship is reportedly in good condition. Is the Mauretania the one that got away from Mr. ??? Shame on him if so, for she is a fine lady! Is she a ghost ship? But in all seriousness, you must wonder what happened to our placky hero and her crew. Mutiny? Piracy? Rest assured that this author will find out! Built in 1907, the Mauretania had a long and storied carrier, but by the 1930s, with the introduction of the Oceanic and Queen Mary, the ship was obsolete by a ??? margin. Despite many, many attempts, including a letter from the then United States President, she was taken form service and supposedly scrapped. Her Cunard White Star ??? are also still around. With the beautiful Titanic serving as a hotel in London, while the Olympic reimagined as a state of purgatory in Newcastle until she was converted into a cruise ship and given an updated power plant."
Big Thank you to my buddy Neptune1952, for making the 2 Majestic edits at the end of the video :D
