i love in any fight scene when a character is revealed to have been holding back, and when their enemy is caught off guard by the increase in speed they aren't afraid but instead say something like "finally". beautifully done!

The turn based nature of the game would make it a bitch keeping a consistent tone throughout a scene, if the expectation is that the story be delivered mid-fight like it is here.

If you're working on a narrative you should consider making a playlist for these. Would also be interesting to see HP bars (even if they aren't actually accurate to the game) to provide more context as to whose winning or losing.
