These are Siberian Huskies. Not from Russia. I have a Siberian Husky and she is a darling ..... very stubborn but intelligent :) The most common Huskies are the grey coloured Huskies which resembles a wolf. Also you forgot to say about their howling and less barking. However good program. :)

So to be specific about the origin of the Husky breed the appropriate answer should be Siberia. That is why they are called Siberian Huskies. Nobody is in the wrong here. Thanks anyways.
I am form USA. I have first hand experience with both Husky and Akita. Akita is more special than Husky. Both these are cute and very loyal. However I have a HUGE warning. Don’t get fooled by the beauty and their loyalty. It’s pretty dangerous to raise them. The reason is that these are dogs with hunting and pray traits in their genes. You will be ok until one day the wild side comes out. There are so many examples if you google. In a nutshell other dogs and animals can be in danger, kids and other humans can be in danger, and finally the very owner can be in danger. We do not know when they snap. I gave mine to someone who was in a safer environment and can take care of them better. Shedding of their coat is a huge problem to maintain and for cleanness, but compared to their wild side it’s nothing. Don’t get me wrong. I love them and I wish my dogs can play with me again. But I am sharing experience because it may help or save someone.
im sorry to say then you know nothing about Huskies. Its maybe because how you treated your Husky. any dog can be wild if they raise wrong. I've seen lot of Huskies but they are not remotely close to what you have said above.
