Love Skykomish - my very first railfan experience was right there when my uncle and I chased the SP4449 as it ran east over the pass in the 80's. Hiking up to the "old" tunnel and snowsheds is super cool too.
What a great adventure Shadow. It was nice for someone on the east coast to get to see the mountains and the area near the tunnel. I loved seeing the tunnel also. That's how I found Skykomish. I went looking for the town that I knew, from the videos, was near the tunnel. Thanks so much!

This was the final video I shot with only two cameras. I got a better camera soon after this video was made. I do use a tripod for all my train videos and this one was on a tripod. The camera that was used the zoom shots in is now a fixed tripod and doesn’t moved when I am out railfanning. Thank you for your comments.
What's going on with Skykomish? Has the sponsor canceled out? Abrupt and for V.R and the Sponsor. PATHETIC! The viewers received NO explanation from V. R ...personally, I think V.R has big $$$$ problems.
The camera is getting fixed tomorrow. I know the person who is doing the work. No the sponsor is not canceling out, he is very supportive of the camera, Atcs, and the radio feed. Yes, I agree there should have been more communication from VR.
great catches and video of this BNSF freight tanker at these 2 areas
Thank you for sharing.. enjoyed see the oil train come eastbound thru the cascade tunnel.. watching doors open and close was very cool 🙏🏽

Nice scenery! Want to go there someday
I like the multiple camera effect
Thanks. I thought it turned out well too!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice video, I can’t wait to visit the cascade tunnel one day
It was my first visit.
Shadowmeboy oh that’s cool, how did you like it?
I enjoyed it. Wish I had a Westbound, but it allowed me to show more tunnel functions.
Really enjoyed this video. Can you give us directions to get to the West and East portals? Many thanks!

@@Shadowmeboy Thanks so much!
I'm curious: why is there a non-oil car between the locomotives and oil cans?
It is a buffer car. It is filled to allow more time in case of emergency between combustible products and the locomotives and engineers.

That is interesting Gabor. I did not know that. EMD's are a very trustworthy engine.
I think your videos would be improved if your recorder was mounted on a tripod. Thank you.

What is with the fisheye lens shots in some shots? It looks like garbage.
