    Just want to say, I am subscribing! I'm not a woman of color, and my hair is straight as a darn board 😕 but it seems like many of your videos are universal. I love your sweet way of talking about sensitive issues and self care, girly friends are something I really don't have. Thank you for all your videos! Btw, country girl here too! 😊

      All black or biracial people do not have kinky hair. Her hair texture is probably 2b. In the video her hair is straight and shiny. You do not have to have the same skin color to watch one of her videos. My sister in-law also brags about her hair because she has a straight 1a hair texture. So what? Is your skin as straight as a board too? Her hair is beautiful, but the video is showing her skincare routine.

    Omg I love Bio-oil. You do have great skin. I'm biracial as most a lot of those. So glad you said that about the alcohol I do this too. The Bio oil for my few stretch marks from having my Son. I also love the Palmers Coconut Butter cream. Question any tips to get your legs and feet from looking ashy. I've got naturally dry skin. I love all things Organic or Anything with no animal testing. I started using the Bio-oil from Oprah. She had it listed as one of her have to have. I'm a Country Girl too. You have a natural glow I'm loving, I do not know your age yet you look very young. Not having children. Thanks so glad I found your channel.💖💖. I'm growing out my hair after I chopped it off due to chemicals. I also stopped washing and using all the straightening iron n blow outs. Our scalp needs the natural oils. I'm a semi retired Cosmetologist. You never truly get out if you love what you love...

    @llpbrown 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Victoria! First I'd like to thank you for the various videos you post and so many more I have yet to see! You are so lovely and genuine as your sweet personality really shines through! Thank you! Now, I would like to ask what you would do about stubborn ingrown hairs on your face (pretty embarrassing but yes) and I have dealt with this for years and have tried some treatments but not for long like one made of sugar and raw honey and one with coffee or even crushing up an aspirin and mixing with a little water as i't's supposed to help. Like I said, I need to be consistent with one for a while to see results but I have been recently with a sugar face scrub, mixed with essential oils like orange and bergamot (to name a few but they're more but I can't remember them as I don't have the prepared bottle right in front of me now)/carrier oil. What can one do prevent them growing and curling itself underneath the skin in the future?! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    • @VictoriaVictoria
      @VictoriaVictoria  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lydia Parham-Brown Thank you so much🌹 First, you’d want to remove the existing ingrown hairs with tweezers. Sorry...but yes. Use a warm cloth with essential oil tea tree to kinda loosen up the area then one by one tweeze and remove. Then follow up with alcohol to disinfect. Then regularly use Lavender, tea tree and a carrier like coconut oil daily to further prevent. I hope this helps💕

    • @llpbrown
      @llpbrown 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much Victoria! Yes, tweezing is something I do :) My issue is getting the hair soft enough for the hair to come out as some are so hard to get out. Yes, a warm/hot cloth I have used but for me I have to sit with a facial steam for at least a 1/2 but I think I need more time than that unfortunately. It's such a long process and I get impatient and often don't even do the facial steams and just replace them with a quick warm/hot soak of the face with a cloth. That's not enough for me unfortunately right now so I will have to let my skin get more moist for a longer time and then I can use the tea tree oil before I pluck. I have used it at times after plucking but doing it before I think could really help! Thank you! I will try your coconut oil/tea tree oil/lavender oil (both essential oils I have!) combination after. Hopefully I don't break out because I am sensitive to most oils, making me acne prone. Perhaps if I'm just applying lightly on certain spots, then it could be o.k.
      I will let you know the results later :) Again, thank you for your advice!

    Going upward also gets into the skin deeper.
    Our skin is layered like shingles if u look at it from a microscope. So in addition to helping with wrinkles and gravity. Upward motions get UNDER and INTO those "shingles".💓💓✌✌😘😘

      It is a haircare video. What the heck does watching a skincare video have to do with loving people of all races? If you do, stop turning a haircare video into your own personal statement of acceptance of other people who have darker skin. Just watch the video and learn about skincare. We all have skin regardless of our skin color.

      Just to piggy back on the cleanser question, so even with a full face of makeup(mascara, lip stick, eyebrow, fiundation,blush powder,etc...) no cleanser?

      Coconut Oil does the trick. Removes all makeup, even waterproof mascara!

    Maybe you should look into pure vegtable glycerin soap, it's amazing for very sensitive normal to dry skin, You can make it yourself as well, check it out! I loved coconut oil and bio oil but my skin can't handle the lavender in the bio oil and the coconut oil gives me a allergic reaction🤗
