    Really a fan of how you actually slice like I do! I love to do that for blondes and so many stylists seem to be scared of it! You do it well, so it doesn't look chunky, yet I can see how it's saving you time and packing a punch of color too. Thanks for this placement technique! Gorgeous results 😍

    Wow! Love the end result!!!🤩 You are in Reno? I’m gonna have to let my Aunt know. She just moved there from Cali. Finding a good trustworthy hair dresser is hard to find these days. Thanks for sharing your talent on here. Wish you were in California. I’d totally come see you✨

    Overlapping previous blonde with 40 volume?! 😲 how much breakage did you get? Beautiful final look though

      Tammy Duffield we used Olaplex with it as well and I Foil really fast so there was no breakage 👍🏻

      I agree … I will not recommend 40 vol over previous lighted hair ..the client has a lot of hair and is very thick and strong so it seems that works , but not to many pp have that hair …😊

    Did you do horizontal slices above the vertical on the top of the crown??

  • @jenniferkennedy5932

    I love this technique. Do you think I could use this technique for covering gray also. I'm planning to add a color 8N probably and just use thin slices and do every other slice with blonde then color? Also because I my client has so much hair I was thinking of using 10 vol. In the back then moving to 20 when I get to top and sides. Thoughts???

    My hair was highlighted in August! Obviously I have a lot of regrowth and I’m pretty much the same colour as the client. I don’t have opalex so would it be better for me to use a 30 vol rather than the 40?

      Im a little late on this but use 30

    • @angelinebiswas7611
      @angelinebiswas7611 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Use 20! I think it’s insane to see anyone use 30 or 40. 30&40 eventually stops lifting it dies out. There is just no need for it it causes massive breakage no matter how much you dilute it with olaplex or water I would personally never ever use a 40

      TRACY MCGINTY. Hey Tracy! First of all thanks for watching! The Formula I used was Paul Mitchell Syncrolift with 20 volume to lighten her hair and I used equal parts of Paul Mitchell The Demi 10V + 10PA with processing liquid to tone her. For styling her hair I used Paul Mitchell Neuro Prime to protect her hair from heat when I blow dried it and to give her a smooth shiny finish and I also used a little bit of Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Hydrocream ship before we blow dried and then I used PM Neuro Protect for more heat protection right before we curled it. :)

    Can I use 10v to lighten up the ends? They’re like your client ends color. She has very thin and damaged hair.
    I’m scare if I use 20v I’ll giving her more damage.

    • @meganlorson
      @meganlorson 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kamila Wright yes I would definanatly recommend using 10 vol and if at all possible I would try to to overlap or lighten any pieces that are already super blonde, over processed or damaged. I personally like using Olaplex also if I am working with over processed or damaged hair. 😊

      Megan Lorson thanks for answer. She wants to remove some of the warm that she has like your client to have more of a brighter blonde, her extensions are a little more ashy and brighter color. I’m no familiar with Paul Michael products, I do use Shades Eq so do you know which shades I can use to get the color that u gave to your client? Thanks again

      If you want platinum 9p 9v equal parts is amazing! Sometimes I add clear or 9n but the 9p 9v is my absolute go to!

      To not damage the ends since they’re the most damaged

    Couldn’t you just use a regular chop stick from a Chinese restaurant? Looks the same, only different material!
    Nice job!! It’s hard to tone without muddying up the blonde!!

      Diane Thompson thanks for watching! ......these prostix that I use are microbial and they don’t soak in the color like a regular chopstick would
