I always thought I was doing something wrong with my feet till I saw Justin's footwork was like mine. The back leg up on the down swing and the lifting and turning action on the front.

i mean if you're absolutely bombing it, but i don't think hes swinging that on much other than the driver

@@toneabet6252 I don't look nearly as extreme as Justin. Hes a pro, but my footwork is similar, and it can work as long as you dont compromise your spine angle or swing path. It feels more natural to me. Justin still lifts his back foot on iron shots, it's just much less. This does help me generate power and my average drive is about 285 yards.

@@aarodfulI’m the exact same. I went through frame by frame comparing my swing with his, and the only difference is he has a steeper club path. It’s just how I naturally swing, and I feel like it helps me generate power. I have struggled with barely being late at impact, which opens the club face, but I’m starting to work through that.

I don´t know why but his swing is so satisfying to watch

That right foot action is ridiculous

I do the same thing. I feel like I can’t generate power if I don’t.

Every person has a unique swing, because of the body and feelings changes from person to person... JT's swing won't fit for majority of people.
You may take one or two things but never able to copy and paste.

Draw but sometimes bad hook can happen (its happens when i am not concentrated on shaft grip) just yestatday i went shot high fades from 58,52,PW,9,8. I really spent 3-4 hours on driving range (went 200yards -carry draw with 7 iron....-before that in was 130, but yesterday i made 130 with full PW, even 100 with 58' but it was unimaginabile for me to hit that far.
I am total begginer, and yeasterday i figured it out somehow for distances i thought i would NEVER achieveve but i went straight on range after playing 9 holes ( maybe last golf session, winter is coming )
So🎉🎉🎉 i wass surprised myself, ok i got old pingi25 (have to regrip because they are old, but i felt in love after first shot with them, a week ago and its really the club made the difference (tried hitting with p790,sim2 bunch of others but Ping has it for me even old worn clubs) my next buy is PING irons or if i could afford to get fitted i could choose other if i have to(having better feeling&result)
Then i tried my driver and wasn't able to shot even up, ball was pretty much rolling same with 5wood....
Sorry for that long comment but yesterdaay was just like i somehow went Nirvana pr put it simpley figured out the shot with old Ping irons...feeling AMAZING so i had to share 🎉🎉
    GREAT GREAT VIDEO MADE 👍👍👍

My back hurts just watching that

You can do that in your 30's! 😅I always notice with his swing how high his hands and arms are in the back swing, higher than most on the PGA tour. I'm about his height/weight and I tend to get too flat because of the length of a driver, when I get a little bit higher on the back swing I hit it better - not as high as him though.

Man that sounds just like me. I’m not nearly as flexible as him, so I shallow out a bit. When I focus on a steeper takeaway then I absolutely pure it, but it’s so hard for me to do.
