Lionel trains are often mistaken for gold, but the individual collector pieces are worth a lot of bucks. The original Lionel boxes alone are worth a small fortune.
Just knocked off for a shower and cold beer. Been another steaming hot day here in the U.K. I like differences in terminology between here and the USA i.e. Dumpster = Skip. Tote = plastic crate ? Carved wooden milk bottle thingy = ......... same Keep it up Dave !
Freakin awesome find man, I really enjoy your videos and your style of scrap/trash pickin!!!! Hey how much for all the little plastic farm animals shipped to Okla. 73061? They reminded me of the animals I have from my childhood fourty years ago!!! Keep the great videos coming!!!
The Station is a Noma Talking Station It is battery Powered and plays the records with sounds and annoucements. Almost bought one at a recent show but had to save money The set looks like a 1955 set if the boxcar has MSL on it you got a collectable piece there
It's a real shame that someone as put in garbage that collectable postwar trains . This is great that you save thoses to go directly to the bad end . Sometime people like you as save a lot of things that good for another life . Probably the bizarre person that put thoses trains in garbage having a very big pocket and dont take care of that valuable toy train , i'm just womdering why they not put on ebay or simply give to a children that realy like to own a (yes ) real america toy made with proud that realy realy made 100 time better than modern china electronic trains that surely visiting the garbage very soon before thoses great vintage over 50 or 60 years of age and you put on the track and it run great again and again . I own a huge lot of postwar and i'm proud of it . Just my personnal opinion here . Good luck my friend you have some money in hands with thoses trains . Cheers .
What idiot throws postwar Lionel trains away with eBay, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace available to everyone? Those locomotives are Santa Fe F3 A and B units BTW. In good condition worth about $250-$350. The “switch” is called a transformer and they are not “7’s”...They are “L’s”, for Lionel.
Holy smoke! Who throws Lionel trains in the trash??!! I’ve NEVER seen that!
Crazy right?! One of my better days trash picking✌️✌️
Those Lionel F3 sets are getting anywhere from$500-$1000 at any train show! And you found the a and b unit!
That’s nice, those trains are priceless

Nice save!!! You’d be surprised what people would give in eBay just for the empty Lionel boxes.
Sad to see these thrown out. That 6468 Automobile car in tuscan can be a $300 or more boxcar.
I got 200 cash at the flea market for one of my favorite trash picks this year though
