A brasserie ( pronounced brass - a - ree) is the French word for the equivalent to what would be considered a diner-type eating establishment in the US. I love the Little Leather Library books! Great accidental find! I’m the one who is deep in like with the prickly sea urchin glass boudoir lamps.
My husband and I were walking a river. I found a spoon in the sand. On the back it's stamped W.M Roger's. I googled the name. He was a silverware maker. He died in 1875!
Beautiful depression glass and Fenton pieces! WOW 😲 Oh BTW- Happy Meteorlogical Fall (apparently September 1st is the first day of meteorology Fall) 🍁🍂🍁🍂
I love that Harkerware bowl! I have two. One with a black silouette fireplace and the other a bright floral, both with spouts. I use them as mixing bowls and even for serving salad. Love all the other finds. Have a great holiday weekend, Scott.
Scott you must have your very own Thrifting Angel sitting on your shoulder. Amazing finds! Except that person plate. As my grandmother would say, welllll...that's unfortunate.
As usual, you already entertained me in the first minute - I’m sure you heard me laughing all the way over the bridge. Who knew a bit of unintended potty humor could be so funny. 🙃
Scott, I started watching your videos. Excellent. I started to laugh when you wete stuck on the Burlington-Bristol bridge. I live in Burlington City. I know that feeling going over to PA.
My mother took belly dancing lessons back in the 70s. And believe it or not they held the classes in the basement of our Catholic church. Luckily she kept this mostly to herself, otherwise us kids would have been mortified that she was making my dad feel like a sultan. 😂
I believe the peach luster mixing bows are the colonial band pattern. I've never seen that pattern in that color. I've had several sets in that style, and there's usually only 3 bowls. Fun video, Scott!
Dogs look like Westies. Or maybe Skye Terrier. Although Japan has their own recognized breeds that are different from American recognized breeds. You found nice items. Tbe Toby Mug was a good fi d.
I never broke things in the car. I always dropped them in the parking lot before reaching the car. A bag full of broken glass has a very distinct melodic ring to it.
My wife once found a Santa blow mold about that size for $2 at the goodwill.....we were still in the middle of trying to reorganize our attic space at the time and I somehow talked her out of bringing more holiday stuff home.....anytime we are at an antiques mall and they sell for like $50.... I still have to hear about it.....and I can never live down the "junk" I collected over the years taking up more space. Ooops
Adorable 'Terrier' banks, glad you picked those up! You know I collect Scottie Dog items! (Just an FYI: my son reads Japanese Kanji, and if you take a photo and send it to me he can probably tell you what it says, if you'd like) Love all of the 'PPYS' Depression glass! See you Monday!
Actually I looked up the "Little Leather Library" because I though my husband might like them, but by the prices, I'm not so sure I care if he would like them or not!!! I see them regularly listed for over $200 and a full set for $1500!
Did you sale the pumpkin blow mold? I just found your channel looking at vintage Christmas but I'm really a Halloween freak! Love the blow mold and was just wondering if you still have it. Just subscribed!
SCOTT DID YOU GET MY EMAIL I'M THE ONE WHO BOUGHT THE TOBY JUG FEW WEEKS AGO THAT ARRIVED BROKEN. I LOVE THE ONE YOU JUST FOUND MAYBE I COULD GET HIM, LET ME KNOW ❤😊
All thrift stores throw glassware away eventually if it doesn't sell. They have to create room for new stuff that will sell. The bigger stores usually clear out old stuff weekly.
Oh! I think you should have bought those prickly lamps. I think somebody would have loved them!

I have that Empire pumpkin man, circa 1969, that I purchased at a flea market 25 or so years ago. $3!
Beautiful depression glass and Fenton pieces! WOW 😲

The orange light bulb is a great idea.👍🏼
So much fun stuff! And so many fun bloopers! Hopefully, Dee won't use any of them!
The pretty Harker bowl is called a batter bowl.
I love that Harkerware bowl! I have two. One with a black silouette fireplace and the other a bright floral, both with spouts. I use them as mixing bowls and even for serving salad. Love all the other finds. Have a great holiday weekend, Scott.
Love the puppies and that their heads are bigger than their bodies!
Wow..the box of antique books!
The mixing bowl with spout is so pretty.😊❤ Good haul!
Scott you must have your very own Thrifting Angel sitting on your shoulder. Amazing finds!
Except that person plate. As my grandmother would say, welllll...that's unfortunate.
Great vlog Scott. Loved Dee in her hair dryer bouffant🤣
Dogs are West Highland White Terriers. Thanks for sharing your finds!!
That mini library in the wooden box was great!
Your opening to this video was pretty darn funny… dumping a load! 😅I need to shop where you shop!! 😂
The box with the books was a nice surprise! ❤ the pink tidbit.
Loved the prickly lamps.
I like those prickly dresser lamps 🌵
You are such a fun person. I love your videos. The doggie banks are adorable and pink depression glass is lovely also Fenton is a great find.
Those books are great bonus find.
Cute Westies
I love the dog banks and that beautiful mixing bowl with the pour spout ❤. Those little leather bound books are quite the treasure!
Love the spouted mixing bowl!
...PS...who doesn't love you 😂❤
Didn’t know muffins had ears 😂
Some great punch lines in this video! Sound effects are spot on. In 💓with that batter bowl and little leather library books!
Darling terrier banks--Look just like West Highland Terriers, white fur with the short legs and those darling eyebrows and long mustaches.
😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 had to share my shock that those vintage glass lamps did not appeal to you ... OMG loved them, and a PAIR😍!
What in the Ding Dong heck was that plate?…
Get back there and get that record. I want it for my album cover collection!
That plate was straight outta Ding Dong heck!

You are a hoot, Scott! Thanks for the laughter. 😂🤣🥳
Funny, I just foud that same Fenton silvercrest basket at a yard sale on Saturday 😊
I know you couldn't take the "face" plate but man, that would have made a hilarious gag gift. lol
As usual, you already entertained me in the first minute - I’m sure you heard me laughing all the way over the bridge. Who knew a bit of unintended potty humor could be so funny. 🙃

Hahahhahahaha
You never disappoint !!
I love the red Viking glassware and the peach lusterware. I do love MCM everything.
Lottery win!😁
That Corning white thing is a WWII military Watchmen handless mug…has some value.
Came here to say the same. Military Handwarmer. Hard to find them w/o chips. Always a good pick up at the right price.
I love the little books.
Love you Scott you are so full of energy and lifex
Loved this this trip!😊
H FL❤
That's what I was thinking about the Halloween light, just use an orange bulb.
Thank you Scott for making me smile! You are a hoot🦉I always enjoy the content of your videos.😊Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy Thrifting.🎉
I love peach luster also
Haven't seen that bowl set before. Nice rewards for your good deed!
My mother took belly dancing lessons back in the 70s. And believe it or not they held the classes in the basement of our Catholic church. Luckily she kept this mostly to herself, otherwise us kids would have been mortified that she was making my dad feel like a sultan. 😂

Your bloopers always give me a giggle. Wonderful variety of treasures as usual, but you know me, I especially love the pink depression glass.
Time to rethink thrifting on Saturday. I avoid it too but you did great there.
Dogs look like Westies. Or maybe Skye Terrier. Although Japan has their own recognized breeds that are different from American recognized breeds. You found nice items. Tbe Toby Mug was a good fi d.
The backs look like a cartoonist Asta, from the Thin Man
I never broke things in the car. I always dropped them in the parking lot before reaching the car. A bag full of broken glass has a very distinct melodic ring to it.
Great stuff! I especially liked the center handled try. Please let us know when you find out what the pattern is.
I think that there may have been two pumpkin heads in the truck at the end of the video! 😮😂😅
OH, my goodness, love your treasure box! And the quick glimpse of a cake plate. Thank you for taking us shopping.
You've got rewarded with good luck because you helped some today!
That tidbit tray! Gorgeous! Tidbits trays are right up there with console bowls for me!
Thanks for sharing can't wait to see what's in your cart!
😊😊what a haul...wonderful

West Highland White Terrier.
Love the banks 😅
Pretty
😍such great finds...😂love the blooper ending🖐💖
You do need to go thrifting Saturdays! I love the batter bowl, looks to be in mint shape.
❤
The glass lamps were very sea urchiny.
Arggg! I want the books AND the box! Not listed? Will they? or live auction? Hits all my bells!
😂Scott you is funny!😅
Actually I looked up the "Little Leather Library" because I though my husband might like them, but by the prices, I'm not so sure I care if he would like them or not!!!

First comment AGAIN!!! Oh, and I think the piggy bank is a West Highland Terrier. I lived with one for 16 years.
I agree! My mother had one
He was a pedigree with a document that said it’s parents named, Honey Dew of Prince Martin or something pretentious like that 😑
I had my Westie for 15 years. The sweetest dog I ever owned. Miss him every day ❤
@@user-Ozzieboy Yes!! So very sweet 🙏🏻
I'm only 30 seconds in and lol 😂
Poor Dee!
The girl on the plate is wearing a "Virgin" pin. worn in the 60s
She’s a virgin? What a surprise.
Hmmm. Scotties are black. Westies are white. Not sure about pink, though. Lol. Nice finds!
The pink tidbit tray is very nice. Will it be online?
Awesome find. Good job helping your friend. Will you have the dogs on live sale or E.Bay? Very interested.
Oh those adorable little puppies! Might they be West Highland terriers? I have friends who would go wild for those
That plate looked like Vintage Vinny….
❤🙂🕊️
Love your videos! BTW the white ones are Westies not Scotties. West Highland White Terriers.
Sky terrier was my guess
I go every Sunday and wait in a line 3 miles long lol
Hahaha!
Was it a water heater you helped with or a wooter heater? 😊 Your videos are so much fun!
That's funny!😅
Did you sale the pumpkin blow mold? I just found your channel looking at vintage Christmas but I'm really a Halloween freak! Love the blow mold and was just wondering if you still have it. Just subscribed!
Westie
A Westie?
It was "brass-er-EE," Scott ... not "brassiere" was gradually shortened to "bra" in the 1930s. Brasserie is "Brewery" in French.
SCOTT DID YOU GET MY EMAIL I'M THE ONE WHO BOUGHT THE TOBY JUG FEW WEEKS AGO THAT ARRIVED BROKEN. I LOVE THE ONE YOU JUST FOUND MAYBE I COULD GET HIM, LET ME KNOW ❤😊
what is ppys depression glass?
That store actually throws dishes away?!?
All thrift stores throw glassware away eventually if it doesn't sell. They have to create room for new stuff that will sell. The bigger stores usually clear out old stuff weekly.
As in the garbage? 😮💨
Is that how merchandise ends up in the Bins at goodwill?
I saw beautiful Georgian glass pink set of 6 $5 each .Had to pass 😞
Lolololololol
Break the plate…melt it with hot coffee…please don’t ever show it again.
I love the dog banks and that beautiful mixing bowl with the pour spout ❤. Those little leather bound books are quite the treasure!
