Calais Campbell still putting up solid numbers at his age is crazy. As a Canes and Dolphins fan, I just wish he had come to the Fins earlier in his career. Re-signing Wilkins just wasn't possible with the cap. The playoff run will still have a lot to do with Chubb and Phillips making it back for the stretch run. I like most of the moves we've made. Some fans just want to see the big splash signings, but with the cap, you have to balance it with keeping the guys you have. We still upgraded at several spots.
And trust me some of these people are not really dolphin fans and it's time that we start giving Chris Greer the Accolade as he deserves

Go big or go home. This team is stacked with talent and expect for them to finally win a playoff game this season, hopefully more.
6.5 sacks off the bench last year, keep in mind he won't be a starter he's just there to help out Zach Sieler and the rest of the d line along with some veteran leadership for a million a year maybe two mill at most, great signing when you break it down. Grier did a great job at filling the holes lost this offseason while keeping the salary cap in mind and not over spending.
We can’t say the oline is better than last year with hunt and Connor gone but I agree with all of the other points.

Phillips will be a game changer this year the pieces are in place if the D gels look out our run games going to dominate this year we’re building to win the late season games this defense will have a tougher cold weather mentality this year
the key is injuries down the stretch, somethings that haunts us year, after year, after year, after year…if we go into the post season without aby key injuries, we’re winnin the bowl, tellin you right now

Like with any contender, the Dolphins will need to stay healthy, but if they do, wow this roster is looking good. They have a chance to be special! Also, couldn't agree more about Calais and what he adds to the defense. He was the ideal signing for Miami

If Jalen Phillips comes back at 100% we could have a game changing DL...to my eyes he was the only D player in the front 7 that could change games against the top teams...he had flashes where I was seeing HOF'er Jason Taylor all over. When he went out our D was helpless against the top teams. If Jalen doesn't come back 100% we are in trouble...if he does come back 100% and plays all year I like our chances against anybody.
Nah,I look Philips but I think Chub was actually the one that started taking over on that line last season and picked up his play when Jaylen went down,I like BOTH of them but we still haven't even seen Philips ceiling yet,plus the two edge rookies are looking like possible gold mine picks,if they are all healthy,with Ogbah and Campbell,Seiler,WOW this could be the best Defense we've seen in Miami since late 90's early 00's

Health will take them the distance or injuries will devastate them.
Folks watch stats from last year… all organic pressure. Schematic change to heavy rotation on the dl plus heavy blitz! Added Brooks and multiple box DB’s. Campbell, Jones and Seiler are stout on the run and pass rush. Edge room is nuts for disruption which is why the Ravens forced turnovers last year
Our d with flores was man blitz heavy and our team thrived with that originally..Also, think our d line got gassed late in the season with the high snap count/no rotation. Excited to see how we do.
I think everything you said was great and spot on EXCEPT our offensive line was WAY BETTER last year than this years expectations. Losing out on Connor Williams and Robert Hunt is gonna sting and makes me a bit worried about Tuas health. People get too caught up in the concussion but he’s had some brutal injuries throughout his career that has kept him out for a couple weeks or even for a whole season. With that said, great video and this just got me super hyped for this season.
Forgot to mention… I’m surprised you didn’t mention Shaq Barrett or Marcus Maye

Everything looks good for the Dolphins this season I hope they can win in December and January if we can't do that we aren't going to make it
I hope the coaches trust all their players to fill in when necessary. I've noticed many instances of fatigue in players especially during the Kansas City game. Fatigue can cause injury, and these coaches better find a way to relieve player fatigue, or the season will not end well for the Dolphins.

Before paying tua. He still has more to prove. He has to get his game up with the fury of patrick mahomes in josh allen. He has to lead the team to victory coming back from behind. Last year's game with Kansas City, Buffalo in Baltimore. Prove that he has not proven this yet. Miami signed a lot of players, but they need to get another quarterback Back up with the potential into actually beating tua For the starting position. He must meet these challenges this year. I don't support giving him a early contract extension.. At least until Mid season or end of season to evaluate his improvements because he has room for plenty

If you think a few defensive starters wouldve changed that playoff game, you need to go watch it again. Defense DRASTICALLY outplayed the offense for miami. Tua is a wet sack of garbage in big games. The only touchdown was off a horribly underthrown ball Tyreek had to run 10 yards back to get and then break a tackle to get a prayer of a touchdown

They might not be the sexiest signings, but adding OBJ and Jonnu is much more significant than most would acknowledge. They are clear upgrades over Berrios and Smythe, respectively. That's an additional 2 targets that legit stress opposing defenses.

Plenty of young guys got hurt last season..injuries are part of the game but keep filling the roster with talent that can sustain SOME injuries and hopefully avoid the major disasters all over the field..team chemistry and motivation means a ton..McD got these guys believe and caring. Hopefully Oline can stay healthy and that will be the key to the rest of the team..the better the OL goes the better the team goes..healthy OL equals more points equals easier D..straight attack quarterback and eventually run out clock..less plays less chance of injuries. I don’t this we had 1 game last season that the entire starting Oline played together and finished a game..Bills on the other hand had all 5 for entire season or almost until very end.
