Check out Deadnest by Momuments next! More Termina style Andy on that track, but it’s still very unique and different than what you’ve seen (plus some hella good bass)
I haven’t listened to much monuments but from what I understand they make good heavy bangers. To me it seems halfway between Breaking Benjamin and Erra (from what I’ve heard)
Please listen to more Monuments dude! They’ve had some lineup changes over the years, mainly vocalists, but the first two albums are held dear to me - groovy riffs for miles, clean pop hooks, and a load of absolute heavy bangers. Would recommend!
I would even throw in some tracks from Phronesis, despite the mixed reception it got, I think there's still some strong songs on there & plenty of awesome riffs/grooves as usual of course. 😂 If you were considering a possible album reaction though Josh (hint hint haha) I'd wager most Monuments fans would agree that "The Amanuensis" would be the one to go for!
Lil factoid too, for anyone reading this that doesn't already know: the previous vocalist, Chris, (who was also the vocalist of Periphery, pre-Spence) played a sax solo on Tesseract's 2nd album, the founding member of which was in band called Fellsilent with John Browne of Monuments
@@youwhatmate I always loved this little fact that 3 of the coolest modern metal prog/djent bands (whatever you wanna refer to is as) are linked through a few members. Could also throw in Intervals with Anup's contribution on Phronesis too. 👍😁
I am absolutely begging you to react to sleep token. Check out the song Jaws first. I’ve picked up on your taste and know you’ll love it. I’m just head over heels for this band right now. They are incredible
Waiting for that Sheridan - The Heist reaction... :p Love the vids dude, Monuments go back a ways but they're one of the greats when it comes to, like, prog-metalcore. Definitely check some Amanuensis. :)
Andy is so goddamn good at singing he makes me want to never speak again
Andy Cizek is just insanely talented. It's actually unreal that he can go from Makari to Monuments to Termina to DGD covers to Linkin Park... insane.
So insane
Yessssssss
Yeeeeeeeah

Bass? All you had to say my man(tooth)
There’s nothing Andy can’t do...
I think that may be true

Oh sweet I’d love to hear more vocalists with these guys!
