Al Qawaid ul Fiqhiya (The Jursitic Maxims) of Sheikh Abdul Rahman As-Sa'di Pt.1

We begin this book by the well-known Sheikh from Najd, and one of the mu'asireen (contemporary) scholars of the Hanbali madhab, Sheikh Abdur Rahman As Sa'di. In this short work, he compiles dozens of juristic maxims that allow for a better understanding of the beneficial aims of Islamic law as well as how it works to deflect harms and reconcile contradictory occurrences. We ask Allah to have mercy on the Sheikh, to make it a source of benefit for us and all those who listen.

I’d like to benefit by studying this series, but the instructor is not mentioned or credited. It is not the Sunnah to study with an anonymous or unknown teacher. Perhaps it is best if the teacher identifies himself and mentions his ijazat, or record of his studies and teachers, in order to be transparent and better inform the listeners and students.
