Hi! you are SOOO talented and I love your singing. I have 2 questions. What classes do you take? and Can you do a video on how to learn vibrato when singing bc that is one thing I struggle with.
Thank you!! I'm taking Workshop (we worked on Shakespeare monologues and now on contemporary monologues), Jazz Dance (we have a warm-up at the beginning half of class & go over jazz moves, and then learn dance combinations), Choir (exactly what it sounds like! We sing choir songs, several each semester!) Ballet 2, Cracking the Code (math - statistics - intro class that fills a core class requirement), Basic Musicianship II (intro to music theory), Music Business (we learn about different music business companies and some of the different ins and outs of the business), Program Meeting (we do workshops with professionals and talkbacks and sometimes we have recitals), Voice Lessons (these are one-on-one and one hour long!). Hope this helps. As far as how to develop vibrato, I never learned how to sing with vibrato so I don't know how to teach it but there are a lot of videos on youtube if you look up 'how to learn vibrato'.

Both programs are for people wanting to study musical theatre! The main difference is that Tisch is more acting focused and Steinhardt is more singing focused. Both have singing, acting and dancing.
So I’d recommend looking into the curriculum for both and trying to find people in each program to talk to so you can decide which to apply to! I can help you with that! You can DM me on Instagram @madison_halla.
ugh, going to nyu would be amazing. I'm trying to find out what universities/colleges I want to go to in the future but I have no where near the talent to get into any of these amazing places :(
Well the first step is to believe in yourself! I suggest you accept yourself for where you're at now, continue or start voice lessons and choose material that challenges you. Maybe start a few dance classes and BELIEVE in your ability to improve and have and open mindset! If you think you can't, you're defeated before you've even started.
