I just found 3 of the winter wonderland dolls in Target.. I like them, their hair is the same great quality as the older dolls. The tensile is good quality too, its very manageable. Violet's skirt looks better in person. Also, I cut off the plastic layer on the bottom of Bella's skirt. It looks much better now.
The gimmick for this line feels so weird and unnecessary to me, and the only good thing about this line is that the dolls' individual clothing pieces look decent. Other than the occasional clothing piece, these dolls are intensely disappointing!🖤💜

Sunny looks cute! Skyler looks good beside the Mermaid Skirt for me. Violet and Bella look terrible to me. When I wanted a Bella winter break doll i did not mean whatever this is. Violet looked better with the pants in the prototype but for some reason MGA doesn’t want any person in the rebrand to wear pants lol. These are definitely a pass for me! 💖✨
I remember watching vloggers, and people in their comment sections, always complaining about the prices. Saying they would only buy some of the originals if, and when they went on sale. So maybe that's part of the big change.

Poppy first was missing in the slime series, Poppy and Jade missing in the swimsuit series; and now Poppy, Jade and Ruby missing in this series. Probably #4 Ruby, #5 Jade and #6 Poppy is the ranking in collector buying trends over the Rainbow High doll years. Bella added (a Pink R.H. theme) is as unique as Amaya Rein in the slime series. So far it is a fact of seeing which characters aren't a clearance character by remaining in the doll line or added.
Even my target age daughter hates the sand / slime pockets on the cloths! 😢She loves slime and kinetic sand too. We have Skyler and she did have some fun with the snowman but the glitter made a huge mess. 😅 She didn’t want to inject the water into the skirt and I was okay with that.
The new rainbow high dolls all have really pretty faces, I'm just not that big on the gimmicks. Especially this Winter Wonderland series. Those things are going to mold and mildew. MGA should've probably really thought this concept through because eventually their will be some crazy claims, recall, and lawsuit coming their way.
We already have a rainbow high winter line up and those were way better than these, these are too poofy. All we really need is a poppy doll, c'mon MGA, just do it already

I got one the bella and she is cute but the skirt is an abomination. Even my 6 year old niece said the snowman with the slime stuff is enough and she'd prefer her have a normal not filled with slime trash bag looking dress. She said it looked like a trash bag thats a coming from a litttle kid...😢 so yeah i think rainbow high is done and they are focusing on bratz maybe more idk seems like such a shame they had such a good doll line for a min there. I mean monster high trumps them and will always be mine and my nieces favorite but we did love the rainbow high dolls in their hayday. ❤

They should just do collector dolls like Mattel does. Just make sure they don't make so much and aren't expensive. I think seeing Roxy and Maria going for so cheap made them not want to do anymore.
@iamsoverybored878 You're right I got all the collector monster high and if rainbow high had a decent collector doll like those maybe...I mean lily cheng is really the only decent collector one I think 🤔. I know it may not be a huge part of the market for them but doing maybe a few special collector dolls for adults but if they are gonna charge 75 for a doll or so they should be that quality like we see with monster high. Again lily is by far my favorite one and she is that level I'd expect to pay 50 to 75 for. With Roxy she just didn't have that appeal she was bland. Oh and Maria I got 3 of them cause they all had paint all over the box from her face pressing into it during shipping and it was a joke she had big smudges and missing spots i took pics to send to customer service and they even said that was really bad. They finally sent me a good one and let me keep the defects but it was really bad this one to have 2 out of 3 dolls have a horrible paint job is not worth paying a premium to me.
I'll get Bella because I love her hair and cute sweater. I'll take off that ridiculous plastic puffer skirt and put something else on to go with her sweater.
The style head Bella...that's a hell no from me. Mga has no business taking notes from bootlegs of their brand. So if everyone could just collectively not buy this that'd be great Winter wonderland is a brighter spot in the dark slimey sludge that is the reboot. The outfits themselves are an almost avant garde runway takes on winter fashion so they work by being so unique. Their faces are actually quite cute and don't have ANY glitter thank the doll gods. I've also seen how people can remove the filling in the clothes by cutting slits and rinsing the inside with water (the syringe helps). So the gimmick is also completely removable. Only thing I don't like is the ungodly amount of tinsel. But you know what that's an ok problem to have by comparison. I also saw all of these in person and have some thoughts Bella: the snowflake freckles and blushing is so damn cute and precious she's going to sell well Sunny: she has a great outfit and I love the new lip up for sunny is here to stay Skylar: lovely, glad we have intricate hairstyles back Violet: I thought she was the plainest of the bunch, but she actually has a white graphic liner look. Still mourning the loss of the pants After seeing them I'd say I like Bella best, then Skylar, then sunny, then violet. Violet was the only doll I expected to dislike, however in person she won me over. Gotta support the upswings or the brand wont bounce back
Girl... It's not the sand you inject, but the water to activate the snow, which is already inside the clothing piece. The kinetic sand and the snow are two separate things. So, the line has two gimmicks And there are not a lot of product in theit hair. They are soft and nice. Even with the tinsel

The promotional images of the kinetic sand snowman are badly photoshopped and false advertising. And injecting water into the clothes is a colossally bad idea.
Kids may not care about not having inset eyes on this Amaya, but she'll still look demonic to them XD I kinda like Bella's dress...maybe not on her but I like its design.
