    Hello, I live in Switzerland and only understand a little English.. but of all the videos on TH-cam I think you explain how to play the guitar so easily in just a few minutes.. thank you very much.. I love your videos

    Hey man, I just want to say thank you. 3 years ago I bought an acoustic and stopped playing after a while, I got bored of learning songs and felt that I could not progress. Then after a while I tried electric guitar and came across your videos, now I am progressing faster than ever! For some reason your videos keep me glued to the screen, interested to a degree I've never felt before. Thank you for providing theory and making it so easy to understand. You don't teach us songs, you teach us music.

      Thank you so much for the kind words. It really means so much to me. It's the whole reason I make these videos! 🙏

    For longer slides, look at the desired fret when sliding, not the start off fret. Really improves accuracy

    An amazing lesson. You’ll get to 100k subs before the end of this year. Truly the vets teacher when it comes to guitar lessons.

    really liked the parts of the video where you got more intermediate/advanced or generally more nuanced with it. would love to get more videos specifically emphasizing practice and performance tips for upper intermediate players to take our technique and feel to the next level. what i'm really asking for is a phrasing video lol... breaking down more of those little motifs and movements with bends, double stops, ghost notes etc. that i definitely didn't slow down and copy haha

      Hahaha, I definitely need to do a video specifically on phrasing. I'll get working on something. Just wanna make sure I do it justice 😅

    Ah jeez, your videos are sublime Andrew. I'm currently watching your videos in the suggested order playlist you've made and they are THE most easy to follow explanations I've ever heard.
    Your channel seems guaranteed to blow up! Thanks for the content and looking forward to viewing these videos many, many times to improve my musical theory and guitar playing. Cheers, from Australia!

    Thank you sir! I really love your material and teaching style. Do you have any lessons on integrating arpeggios? Thanks!

    A content suggestion. You could make a video on each one of these. Bonus if you would add some practice ideas.

    Bending and sliding come naturally for me, but i don't know how to incorporate them into short licks, short licks are my kryptonite, did you do a lesson on undersranding licks if not, can you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    My biggest issue with speed is that I lose my sense of rhythm. It's like when a skateboarder is in the air, I have no clue of where I am going to land and how much time I have until I land. Guys that can squeeze a lot of notes and know exactly how it will fit into the overall rhythm "box" is what impresses me the most and I'm not sure how to train for it.

    what is that water ripple like reverb

    • @andrewclarkeguitar
      @andrewclarkeguitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's spring reverb. Some amps have it built in, but you can also get it from a pedal. I'm using a Universal Audio Golden Reverberator to get that sound.
