I am absolutely going to get this fragrance. Dua has done a great job on every fragrance I have purchased from them. I've gotten a few PDM clones that have been discontinued or vaulted as they like to say.
Dior made 40 bottles for the employees of the Christian Dior Fabric Dept…A place in France is an awesome fragrance. Even tho it’s not listed in the notes but I get a hint of Chlorine note. It’s very clean, citrusy and light floral. I ended up ordering 3 bottles just incase.
Just ordered the travel size cant wait to try it out 👀 hopefully mr Kurkdjian sees this video and considers bringing it back even if its a different name 🔥🔥🔥
I have tried Dua's Citron Wood, Carved from Aoud, Spicy Gourmand Delight, Shadow Play, Bleu de Casino Elixir, and Bois Oudh. I will likely try this one. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the review.
I just received it! I bought it based on your review. My first impression is that I think I smell my mom. So it has emotions. I also just bought the beach vibes, and pacific chill. Pacific chill is better than LV, I have the $300 bottle based on your review and that other scent guy. Sigh
This fragrance is something special. I was gifted a decant by Dua & on the first spray i was "what the hell is this?!" Its really good. I ordered 2 bottles
Steven did FK ever work with you on Navitus? Are you able to contact him to see if he has any insight on the original since he is now the in house perfumer. Maybe I’m reaching but just a though.
Hey i have montale soleil di capri and its main note is citrus called kumquat which i used to snack when i was little. Anyway good to know it has similar vibe to creed or even this super rare dior
I purchased this Dua and it smells like 3-4 of other Dua’s I’ve purchased in the last couple of years. Doesn’t last long at all. Nice scent but its an easy pass.
So...that means we'll never know how close it is to the original, if it even smells like it. I don't understand, Dior is in the business of selling perfumes, yet they won't mass produce a masterpiece that could make boo koo money for them. Hmmm...🤔
Maybe because they value their employees so much they made such an amazing fragrance uniquely for them instead of raking in cash for it. I'd be very happy to receive that for my hard work.
I've tried 7 full bottle blind buys and I'd say Dua is hit and miss. My biggest gripe with Dua is that they won't post any negative or disparaging review or any review less than 3 stars (and they're probably hiding a lot of 3 star reviews because you'll see very few with most being 5 or 4 star. The problem is that if a product or batch has issues, you don't know until you spend the $33 to $60 on it. Even if the product is technically fine, you won't hear what the products smell like from people who didn't like the smell or who thought a clone wasn't like the inspiration, which might be the camp YOU are in. The review censorship makes it difficult to make a good, informed buying decision. My 2nd biggest gripe is the nozzle of the atomizer. It's good in that it's pressurized and doesn't leak, but it's bad in that it sprays in such a fine mist that you need to spray VERY close to your skin or the mist just disperses and blows away before landing on you. On the upside, Dua frequently runs weekend and holiday sales where you can get 20 to 30% discount. I'd left items in the cart and they sent a discount code email to entice me. So, you don't need to ever pay full price. As for the fragrances, the reason I found Dua was for their take on the discontinued Ralph Lauren Romance for men. The opening is a perfect copy. The dry down is missing something. I used to wear Romance as an evening fragrance because of the dry down that had women wanting to lean into me. The Dua clone, His Affair is more versatile with the citrus opening lasting longer and being the dominant thing. It's something easily worn in the day or hot weather and is like a less Lemon Pledge Aventus in that regard. As for the other 6, 1 was misrepresented on the website 2 had something off with them. "Mr Wood" turns out to be a very floral feminine scent. "Out at sea" flat out made me physically ill, headache and dizziness as though some ingredients were off. They're hybrid based on a, Creed frag, Imperial Ocean Mist, also had something sharp that made my head hurt, although it had a descent smell. I'm letting these 3 mature, as per recommendations on Dua stuff. Their take on Elysium and Creed Virgin Island Water, Caribbean Supernova is a really pleasant tropical frag that basically adds coconut to a toned down Elysium. I tried 2 hybrids based off BR540 and realized that I probably don't like BR 540 (hadn't smelled it before). The frags are decent and I've received compliments, but the Caribbean Desire II seems like it wants to mature also as it's changed over a month or so into something I like better than when first sprayed. It's got more depth now. Blue Savage at Casino Royal is a good casual frag. Again, not big on the BR 540 componentsl, but this smells like a casual evening sipping beer and hanging out with friends at an outside patio pizza place. So, 50/50 for both quality and fragrance on the ones I hadn't previously smelled. For the Elysium and Savage hybrid, I'd rather just have legit bottles of the originals, although that's a much pricier option. For the Savage and BR540 hybrid, I wish I had just put the money towards a bottle of Savage or flanker. The Creed inspirations are better value because I'd never spend Creed money on Creed longevity. Edit, I'd forgotten about a hybrid of 2 Tom Ford frags, Cherry Tabacum. This one is exactly as advertised, although I'd never smelled its inspirations. I forgot about it because it's definitely not a warm weather fragrance and I tried it just out of curiosity and to compare the tobacco note to Herod and Carlisle, from PDM that I'd recently sampled.
Dua has been killing it. This fragrance is so beautiful. I hope they produce more of this. I would buy another bottle in a heartbeat
It’s available now. Just bought a bottle.
He's not lying. I received a sample and just got my full bottle. One word. Glorious
I'm so so happy you love it!

Oh wow! Thank you for sharing that! I did not know that!
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
It’s very nice. They sent me a sample of it a few weeks ago. Smooth, floral, and clean. I have it on my hand right now as you are describing it.
Thanks for sharing!
The full bottle is sold out but I was able to get the travel size. I can’t wait to try it out. Your review got me excited for it.
A few 30 ml bottles were just put out on site. FYI
It's my SOTD. I love it. Reminds me of Dua's Classic Cologne Pour Homme. Blind buy worthy.
Just ordered the travel size cant wait to try it out 👀 hopefully mr Kurkdjian sees this video and considers bringing it back even if its a different name 🔥🔥🔥
Did you like it ?

Its a nice scent but it leans too feminine for me.
I totally forgot I had a sample from Dua. Gonna try it out. 👍
Hey Steven, let's hear your thoughts on this one
Dua fragrance shopping next week..Thank you
Have fun!
I have tried Dua's Citron Wood, Carved from Aoud, Spicy Gourmand Delight, Shadow Play, Bleu de Casino Elixir, and Bois Oudh. I will likely try this one. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the review.
May have to check this one out
I hope you love this one!

Is it good though?
You got to do the review on Dua on La Fayette St. Smells and last much longer than the Bond No. 9.

Oh wow! So glad you love it!
I actually got a sample of this one from DUA recently and I will definitely try it

I got this one as a free sample with a recent purchase with Dua, and it is seriously good!
I'm so glad you love it. This one is definitely great. I hope you're having a great weekend so far.
I also got a sample, kind of smells like a female cheap fragrance though.
@@johnpham6780 we can disagree
@@Redolessence thanks. Same to you.
Goodness, this is great
I think the wooden capped dua bottles are 34 mls now
They say that but they're the exact same size bottles filled to the top, as they were before. I don't see it
@@jimiray1969.They're 34 ml bottles. It's been tested already. They're not just making shit up. That would be ridiculous.....all over 4ml's?! 🤦🙄😂🤡
Great video sir. You have me very interested.
Thank you for watching!
Man I wear dolce and gabbana the female one and I’m a man
I think it’s unisex but everyone tells me it’s feminine
I guess depends on the nose
I purchased this Dua and it smells like 3-4 of other Dua’s I’ve purchased in the last couple of years. Doesn’t last long at all. Nice scent but its an easy pass.
Purchased! I hope Dua gives you a cut
Thank you so much for saying that. I hope you love it!
Impressed by the improved packaging, caps, and most important the upgraded sprayers following this purchase. I gave up on Dua about a year ago.
I was lucky to get one before they sold out
So glad to hear that!

All Dua fragrances really aren't good until you let them sit for a couple of months. After they sit, they're pretty good.
Shouldn't hace to let them sit tho this is unfortunate
Dua is king. I’m sorry for those who don’t agree. Quality and compliment magnet.
