We’re looking at upgrading wheels to the 350s like you rather than use the ones off our previous boat. We noticed that your transom wheel brackets have a block between the transom and the wheel brackets - did the wheels ship with the block or have you fabricated that yourself? And presumably that’s to get the wheel arms to sail past the trim tabs?
@@andrewcobbold1977 hi Yes to get past the splash guards. Don't buy from Excel. Its only 4 lengths of 1" aluminium box section and the charge you £30 . You can buy it yourself for about £10 . The 350mm wheels are too big and it doesn't matter how low you drill the transom, they will foul on the floor. If I were you I'd buy the 350mm wheels because the frames are of good quality and buy some 300mm wheels for them so you get the clearance. He shouldn't be selling the 350mm with the volaire because they don't work . I had to take some of the bend out for them to work . Plenty of others have been complaining too .
