I would love to see more tutorials without the music and with explanations on what the techniques, colors, types of brushes, you are using and why you are using them. I really think that helps in the learning process. Do you have any tutorials like that?
Exactly. This is the information I have been scanning through for. I loved watching it, but it lacks the basic information for us. I think if she added this information, I would watch her more often over other videos.

malou haynes - I think this painting is more of a tree abstract rather than the real thing, so to speak. One does not see blue trees, only in fantasy and abstract paintings. The person who does these lovely paintings is not very vocal and it's a bit disconcerting, however this is a lot better than older videos in that we do see some direction from the subtitles now and then. More subtitles would be nice if artist is shy to talk us through their process. I love their work and I think it's a woman by the look of her hand. She is very talented and she chops her brushes down in order to make the brushes do what she wants them to do. I am going to try it with some old brushes and some I don't use to see if I can get a similar brush.
I know... I love her work, too. And I think she does not really need to talk as her videos show everything that needs to be done... from the direction of her brush strokes to the amount of paint on her brushes. Good luck on your paintings.
Dorothy Radley actually Dorothy. those trees do exist. they're called Jacaranda trees. they are a tad bit more purple tho. look them up they're gorgeous. I've painted a few of them myself. there's one jacaranda on the big island of Hawaii that's just amazing! a real traffic stopper!
Artsy Chic - thank you for telling me about blue trees. I didn't know but I am glad you told me. It's funny but, as soon as I launched my comment, I felt certain that somewhere in the world there would be blue trees and probably other strange colours too, lol 😊 xx

malou haynes yes you do get blue (purple) trees like this. In South Africa they are called jacaranda trees. Pretoria area.
