Hi there!!!! happy I stopped by to show support and love! Happy November and Friday my friend! Hope you are having a great week!!! Thanks for sharing and posting this!!!! Awesome upload and big like 11! 8:03 nice shot!!!!!!!
Was there in July 2016, was awake at midnight to thick fog, but two hours later the sun was rising and the fog had gone. We got to Akureyri and off the ship, there is quite a bit to see in the town and the leisure centre by the harbour was great with a good coffee shop. The weather was around 28 degrees so t shirt and cotton trousers were worn. Glad we took a coat though once the boat started moving out. We only saw Humpbacks but saw a lone whale and then 2 together, plus a dolphin. Leaving port that night whilst we were eating there was an announcement of whale activity. When we went on deck we watched for about an hour when the two whales appeared, great ending to the day. We were on our way to Reykjavik.
Hi Stacey and Kev. Wow... A little cold but you definitely changed your luck. The whale/whales were so close. Very cool, literally. 🙂 Bonus being just cold and not cold and wet. As always thank you for taking us along and all your hard work. ❤❤
Have seen humpback whales several times when taking whale-watching cruises from Hervey Bay and the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Also random sightings from the Queensland coast. Seeing whales is common in whale season so the tours pretty much guarantee sightings or you get a free tour. They stop the boats and the whales come up alongside and sometimes swim underneath! They are very curious and like to look you in the eye :) Also seen whales in Alaska. Special moments.
Hi to you both, well done with the whale spotting. My good lady reminded me of when we were on Aurora last December as the captain announced a slight change of course due to whales being spotted. Cheers for the update. X 👍
Loved your boat tour with the added bonus of seeing the whales. We have seen whales before on a tour off the coast of Mexico from Puerto Vallarta. What kind? 🤔🤔 Big ones! 🤣🤣
Wow 😊we went few years ago.we flew from Norwich airport for the day it was amazing day spent with my husband.cold but was worth the day to see the whales .thanks for sharing.❤
If you ever come to California go to Moss Landing in the summer and go on sea goddess tours you will see so many ways possible orcas but lots of humpbacks
Have any of you guys been lucky enough to see whales in the wild? If so where and what type?
