The friend feeling a moral obligation to help this person through, falling deeper in love but feeling like loving them is a chore. The other person knowing this, and telling them that it’s okay. My grandmother recently passed but she was screaming this before she passed, not the actual lyric part and I didn’t recognize it so I looked it up. I ended up here and listened and got some weird chills. I don’t know why but recently everything feels very traumatic and sad. Not because I lost my grandma (I barely knew her) but seriously I could stare at things for hours and find something stranger or traumatic about it. Honestly maybe it’s the house, this was my parents house and they did things throughout my time growing up. You don’t need to believe me, I just thought I’d share
