If you are looking for some neat base locations over on Crystal Isles then make sure to check this out! This will show you some awesome base locations that I have which are hidden, rat holes, and some even unraidable. Even a mesh hole or two are in this list! I show coords and explain how I would use each one! Hopefully it helps!!!!

Hey teach. Been off of ark for a half year but recently got back on. Thank you for this video. It’s probably just wishful thinking but I hope WC allows mods on the next gen console. I just want additional creatures, armor, weapons, and structures. Again thank you for the wonderful videos

Great vid, love the spots. What worries me is that, at this point, most people are aware that most of the rat holes on Crystal Isles are located at the floating islands. And I think this entire video takes place there. I'd love to see some rat holes that are NOT around the floating islands.

The last location my tribe just wiped someone from that spot.. there is actually a third entrance on the back wall that you can use grappling hooks to pull yourself through.

5:58 if you have aberration they can make a huge cliff platform base
Also if anyone is looking for a good base for uniffical mostly you can get an argy and build a cliff platform on the tallest mountain on snow biome genesis I did this once and didn’t get raided for 2 months

i like how half the ratholes in general in crystal isles are probably all in floating islands
Good video, but...All of the good spots here are pretty much patched at this point (on Official anyways). The video also focuses ENTIRELY on the eastern floating islands, which are the Alpha tribe's playground. Any Crystal Isles alpha tribe is going to be built in the temple or on one of the islands, and be scouring/spamming the floating islands constantly to root out potential FOBS. You have a much better chance of surviving if you find a spot not anywhere near the floating isles in the east.
id say 2 of these would be a great spot for a small tribe building up. the others not so much.

Ive literally raided Tribes on every one of these locations on "Better than Official" server. Everything is raidable if you know what youre doing and know the game and tame mechanics well enough. I started watching the video hoping youd show some locations I hadnt already raided but I struck out hahaha great vid though

hlf of the spots got fixed. ledges ofc not but most of the ratholes, especially the ones where u have to crawl or crouch through. maybe update the video :)

Hay Teach .... love the videos I been playing ark on ps4 for years now and i just got a gamer pc and want to start playing ark on it , Is downloading the game on steam just as good as getting the game from the store and having it on disk
Steam is probably the best way to do it. It is the simplest of all of the options!

My tribe lives in the first location and there’s actually a bigger hole that you can fit a argie and griffin in around the orange crystal

The first one does not work anymore (can’t get in or out of it anymore)
Literally 90 % of these spots are little ledges
Some are good spots tho i think anyway

I could not find the first one it took me a whole hour to pack the stuff from my base just to get there at the cords and I scroll down to the comments just to see it got patched

I have my personal base in 7:40, very good spot. Turret tower on the tree branch out front and death wall inside. I only use it for breeding at its very comfortable for solo breeding. Currently have 10 Pts 10 turtles couple rhinos, Ankys, Argys and 3 juvy* yutys. Highly recommend!
"This is a little base spot" can only fit 1 foundation in

1st rathole you can get into mesh so the devs covered it up

Its patched on steam, but it still exists on console. I wouldnt count on it existing for too long
