Idk about weird, because i'm used to lovely Rude Kostry music during last 15 years at least (those guys who wrote OSTs for Vietcong games) and their two albums from 2000s are actually progressive acoustic metal fusion, so this sounds pretty similar at some way. And this fact is perfect.
Thanks for the pointer, I've never heard of them! I can't seem to find Rude Kostry on Spotify, do you know the name of the albums or where to find them?
@ yeah, their own music is total underground, despite that fact that they did these marvellous soundtracks. These two albums named Kytice lží (2002) and Budiž šero (2006). It completely appers only at their official page (hopefully still exist and supported by someone of band's members) in MP3 section. YT does not allow to put a link here and erasing comment, but could be find by googling "Rudé Kostry cz". I talked to their lead guitarist Petr Mores some years ago about their albums and CDs, because I wanted to order if it even possible, but i think that original copies and sources are missed, dont remember correctly. So no way for online-streaming services. I never meet a band similar to them, they are pretty unique for their own, so it was pretty pleasant when i've seen this video of 1xN, just "wow, what if.. :0". So I'm looking forward for any movement of your own project.

Funny you say that, we're constantly on the lookout for what we sound like, Opeth tends to come up consistently. But actually this is Prayer Position by Periphery!
@usmh hmm no idea... I did post it using TH-cams "community" feature but actually I feel that (at least on this channel) nobody seems to look at those posts. Apart from that I'm quite active on Instagram and FB in case you don't want to miss any future announcements!
Well that's kind of a stretch calling that acoustic music since I'm looking at one dude playing an electric guitar the other dudes playing a nylon electric guitar setup. Which is kind of acoustic I guess but to call this acoustic music that's kind of a stretch. RLTW 3/75
Fair point! In fact, it all did start out with a cajon and a proper western guitar, but we've geared up over the years... 😅 so the nylon electric is really just a way to avoid feedback in loud live settings. I get your point with the electric though. I guess the reason we're using the term acoustic is because we want to contrast what we do with what the original music sounds like. And I think that's quite a common interpretation, e.g. if I look at MTV "unplugged" -- many of these concerts stretched that term "unplugged" big time! Anyway, I still see where you're coming from, we simply have no better word than "acoustic" for what we do, but we're all ears for suggestions!
@@1xN While I can't say that I necessarily like the term 'clean', this is != 'distorted', not really sure how to describe it in a cool way, but you're making it work as far as the vibe of it.
Don't be like that Mr. Culley. Leave the technicalities to the demihuman playing this sweet riffage my friend. Nothing but praise will be just for this guitar hero. Bravo 👏👌

I would pay to see this stuff live while drinking a good beer. Keep it going 🫶
Well, if you're living in or willing to travel to Berlin/Germany, January 28 would be a good opportunity for that 😊 cheers!🤘🏻
Sounds extremely cool. Sounds like prog metal without distortion which I guess it probably actually is.

sounds like Mastodon X The Contortionist. dig it.
Thanks! We're on constant look out for answers to "what we sound like", actually hearing Mastodon for the first time! 🤘🏻
Also the metal+acoustic side of Opeth...Nice! @@1xN
Is this an Opeth song or does it just sound similar?

"We"?! Whoa, when did that happen?
Didn't you follow my recent updates closely 😉
@@1xN On TH-cam? No, I guess I didn't. Now where the hell is that bell icon? Did they remove it?
