Haha great tips 😆! Please how exactly does the hospital/selection process work for first year after induction? Is everyone in Accra first year? Is there a chance you could be sent outside Accra for first year? What hospitals are accredited in Accra? Etc lots of questions 😅

-There’s a portal that’s open to the newly inducted doctors and a list of hospitals that they can apply to.
-These hospitals are not only in Accra but span the entire country; Kumasi, Tamale, Cape Coast, Ho etc…
-Yes some people are sent outside Accra for their first year
-In Accra, the hospitals typically accredited for 1st year are Korle-Bu, 37 Military, Ridge Hosp, not sure but I think Police Hospital as well

@@kikehearts you’re welcome… also to add on there are some other Hospital accredited in Accra but those are usually available for 2nd year only- Achimota hospital, Maamobi Hospital, Tema General, Police Hospital, Princess Marie Louis….

Yes you receive a monthly salary during the housemanship period.
