There is a speed penalty for running freight trains in reverse (locomotive at rear) - to improve efficiency, you do need your shunting yards to also be able to reverse direction of the trains.
Okay I know I said the last one looked too light, this one looks like its gone too far in the opposite direction... its tooooo dry. I couldn't even sit through the video because looking at it is so dull. Sounds like it has lots of cool mechanics though. Lots of love has gone into it, it will find its people.
I think it looks great. The problem with most train sims is the awful "photorealistic" graphics that haven't advanced since about 2002. This is clean. Real r/dataisbeautiful stuff.

your region train's head is in its tail 23:00 which cause the lowest speed 40 instead of 120(80?). Should solve the train head location problem.

You're right, but my tracks were fast enough that it didn't seem to delay my trains
@@TotalXclipsereverse will cause it run at lowest speed 40 even in the fastest track(200).
that game look like you are playing a skill tree. lmao
Owned this for a long time. Last played July 18, 2021. Released 1.0 today it seems. Time to install and play again!
Yep, It was fun back when it first went to EA but with the new shunting mechanics, it's a lot more indepth than before. It's chill and a lot of fun :D
This game is a pain in the ass...and i played alot train games. But i love it 😁
I enjoyed mini metro and this seems to take it up another notch, I'll prolly check it out.
