Strategy like that is super effective, because cv and acv will hard to attack because the aa, and the enemy is confused about which one to attack, while you and your team can attack one or two targets simultaneously and continue the third target and submarine will die fast if going to attack. But there is one problem if you use strategy like this, becarefull with flanking.

My counter to this is submarine in a map with a lot of mountains. Always target the tail end charley but do disengage when need to surface.

Tbf... this is relatively normal protocol for Naval battles I think. Yeah example in-game is obviously excessive as to how close & grouped up everyone is, but in reality... it's called a FLEET for a reason!
Easier to defend, co-ordinate attacks... etc. Submarines are still hella dangerous tho... although in-game they're more annoying pest rather than a Predator. : I
