Unfortunately this interpretation is wrong. Allah has described the Prophet (pbuh) with exalted character prior to the revelation of sura Abassa as follows: 'and indeed you possess a great character.' (68:4). How can it be intellectually plausible that Allah venerates his character traits at in the absolute sense, and then later reprimands him for an act that is intellectually reckoned as a repulsive and ugly deed, which contradicts the nobility of the human character!
ZA786100 Allah swt has not mentioned name of Prophet in the beginning of Ayat.. It says "He turned Away" not "prophet Muhammad Pbuh" so Allah is talking as if there is a 3rd person. listen to the thafseer properly for better understanding please.

@za786100 is right. The tafsir is wrong. It is assumed that Surah is talking about Muhammad. The tafsir contradicts with other verses of Quran. If prophet have the best of character then these verses cannot be talking about Prophet. Unacceptable tafsir.
Brother Aizaz Ali Thafseer comes directly from the translation word by word from the Quran, one must also know the history of the event and literal meaning and understanding of the Arabic Quranic language. it is not possible that this Thafseer is wrong because one needs to aquire a lot of knowledge to be able to do Thafseer. Brother Nouman has this much knowledge to do Thafseer, not only that but my honerable Ustaad and Ustaadah who are ma'shallah very learned also have done Same Thafseer, therefore when people of knowledge who far above us do Thafseer we cannot say it's wrong out of our ignorance. Maybe brother you haven't understood it properly. I would advise that you ask another learned perdon who can answer your questions what you don't understand.

There are hundreds of example to prove it, you would have known this if you had done any research about how the difference of opinions come to be among clerics in the Islamic History regarding the same verses. The biggest debatable topic being, Mutta and Misyar whose origins are from the same verse yet clerics and scholars hold different opinions. It is plausible even acceptable among clerics the tafsir can be wrong. Tafsir is our understanding of the words therefore it is bound to change and the same goes for the translation. Why dont you do a tafsir of the surah. I see no contradiction. If you look for something you can object to then you will find it.
