‘Palestinians have to be unified’ to stop Trump from committing ‘war crime’: Mustafa Barghouti

- Mustafa Barghouti, head of the Palestinian National Initiative, called Trump's Gaza remarks a "serious threat" and vowed Palestinians would resist displacement. He urged unity among Palestinians and international opposition to prevent ethnic cleansing. Barghouti warned against repeating 1948’s mass displacement. He accused Netanyahu of manoeuvring in ceasefire talks, doubting his commitment. He said pressure forced Netanyahu to negotiate but warned he might restart the war. Barghouti noted Israel faces human, economic, and political costs if fighting resumes. He stressed that Palestinian resistance and global opposition are crucial in countering these threats.
