Great vlog! We were sat not far from you at the Grand Reef and we seen ourselves quite a lot in the background, in particular, you captured our dolphin swim in the distance and we also had Capricorn. I did the shark swim that day as well and it was an incredible experience. Thanks for sharing.
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 it was fantastic, think I was in the water with them for about 15 to 20 mins but it just flew past. The first moment that a shark swims up to you is a little unnerving but then you just settle and enjoy it. What was that other channel? We were also on the Mardi Gras parade that week (we did the ride and dine, we are AP holders but tried and failed for the AP spots the year before so decided not to risk it) and are hoping to find a vlog that has footage of us on a float.
Sounds amazing. I’d like to do that one day. We seen ourselves at DC on Fran & Mart Travels. Not seen anything with the Mardi Gras parade on it. We only caught a few seconds of it in our Universal Studios vlog. I got an AP on this trip. It made sense for the price. When are you next out there?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 that is today’s discussion! The Feb before Covid we got a bargain trip to Universal, given what came next we were delighted that we managed to sneak that trip in. Post Covid we have been every February, last year we went a bit mad and did a week in February, 2 weeks of Disney in August and then my wife and I “abandoned” the kids for a week and did HHN. This summer we are doing Port Aventura but next year we are definitely doing 3 weeks in the summer and are debating whether we can squeeze in another February trip.
Last year sounds like my kind of year for holidays! Your plans for next year sound good too. Disney are tempting more people back with the dining offer for next year too- it’s definitely tempted us. Do you stay onsite if doing Disney? Or do you prefer a villa?

Thanks for watching. Good question. We’d always been told they were strict in it which is why we waited until Esme was 6 but on the day they didn’t ask for any ID. They just asked us how old the kids were and took our word for it. I suppose the trouble is if you pay for it and they happen to check that day you’d be out of pocket and have a very upset very tall 5 year old! I assume you’re going out there soon?

If you do go to Mexico, stay at the OCCIDENTAL XCARET- and upgrade to the UXX (Unlimited Xcaret Xperience) where you can go to the XCARET park everyday of your trip for an additional £200 (approx) each. It is usually over £100 each per day! There are 2 entrances, one by the beach and one near the lobby, both walking distance & no transport needed. We went with BA. I will post our Orlando trip video on our return. We have the Universal 3 park package & the DISCOVERY COVE/ AQUATICA/ SEAWORLD package. Enjoy the rest of your trip. ❤

Where did you buy your tickets in the black Friday sale? What website? Didn't think that would be a thing but great idea to look around that time. Love the format of your videos with video and then recap/comments/more info. Can be too much when people talk over the videos and miss out on the background audio. Great that the kids perspective is included too. Love that!
