If Brock isn't doing much with 6 TDs and 6 Takeaways, then Patrick Mahomes is also not doing much for his team right now. By that logic, the Chiefs are only winning because of their defense. Also, Mahomes' takeaways have been far more egregious than Purdy's.

You can’t say it’s a Shanahan and the system when things are good and not give Brock credit and then when stuff goes not so great say it’s on Brock. Pick a side. Give them both credit or stick to the side you on. Simple. Cant have it both ways. One person gets no criticism for the bad stuff but all the credit for the good stuff. Crazy to me.
Shanahan is a great coach but loses situational football games. Blows leads, questionable unnecessary play calls. Idk if it’s an ego thing but 9/10 he’s usually in position to win a game that he loses.

Because the running game was averaging 8.5 yards per carry. I guess 9 Pro Bowlers isn't enough for Purdy. He had the game losing INT last game. 2-3, 3/12 on 3rd down in the Super Bowl but the issue is never him. The coach that went to 3 Super Bowls is now bad.

Theres personal pressure on Purdy, he wants to win... BUT Purdy is NOT... I REPEAT. NOT making the offensive plays. So the Pressure should be on Kyle to calls those plays. I dont think Kyle would like for Brock to be calling audibles on every play then there would be a disconnect.
Batted ball interceptions is not a qb being bad, that's just a good defensive play. Brock has 3 of them already.

It seems now they are just opening up with trick plays, which means they won’t work in the 2nd half when you need them more. How does a coach whose had the most 1st team all pro players on a single team in history not take more credit for their horrible losses? He also has nick sorensen and Brandon Staley running the defense and the defense looks bad every second half of the game. As smart as Kyle Shanahan is, he needs way more accountability on these losses, 60% of this is a coaching issue. He’s only 74-58 as a head coach, that isn’t average but it isn’t stellar either.

Interceptions that are batted at the line of scrimmage shouldn’t be against the Qb but the OLine which purdy has 4 of this year. Separation has been abysmal yet he leads in tight window throws. There is such a thing as being too fancy which shannahan has been doing a lot this year. Bottom ten in play action when purdy was first in play action completion percentage last year. Make it make sense

Purdy has 6 TD and 4 INT, the one with 6 TD and 6 INT is Pat Mahomes who is really on the Tom Brady Path to do the Minimum and get carried by a elite Defense.
Defense is a big Issue with the Niners, but by far the worst Unit is the Offensive Line, thats the Reason why Purdy has to improvise so often.

These shows can't wait to pounce on Purdy. This is his second full season. It's a team sport. He lost CMC and Dre. Dak, Baker, Tua, Lamar, Allen, Carr, Murray, Cousins, Lawrence all got paid and what have they done in the playoffs. Burrow, Goff, Hurts and Purdy made it to a superbowl. Niner fan here. Kyle shannhan is a choke artist. He’s an old school style coaching system that isn’t moving or progressing with the new era of football. He is bad under pressure and blows a 10 point lead all the time.

Purdy is a 7th round pick. He’s already surpassing expectations. He’s ok. More pressure on Kyle for sure. He’s lost some big games due to questionable calls and game calling. He’s had like a 5-year SB window with amazing stars but has not won one yet with multiple trips to the SB. He’s been to 3 Superbowls (1 with Atlanta and 2 with SF) and has lost all of them.
