Everyone always seems to namecheck Wildwood or Stanley Road as Weller’s best solo album. Both are amazing, but his 1992 self titled album to me is my particular favorite of his solo discography. Not a single bad song or bum note to be found. Into Tomorrow. Amongst Butterflies. Above the Clouds. Bitterness Rising. Just seminal classics from a true genius.
