Love your videos. Just a few questions for you. Firstly do you screw down every row of logs? Secondly if so where do you normally place the screws? I never see you putting on the storm batten is this something you never use?
Hey Gary! So we try and screw it every meter, we do screw every row of logs too. There is no storm battens with these buildings as they are screwed it does the same thing. I have personally see a strong storm rip the roof off a building even with the battens so if it’s going to go, it’ll go , but less likely if the whole building is screwed Thanks for watching !

If screwing the logs what about expansion ? Wont the logs split. I thought the whole idea was to screw first log to floor bearers then none
