What a dream 💭. To have a team of professional mechanics wrench and maintaining your rigs!! Wow 🤩. I’d love to just watch them and learn all their tricks especially for wheel building. Hey that’s a great video idea 💡 someone I remember rebuilding a King rear hub. That took a lot of time and expense having to buy their proprietary tool. Of course it don’t matter if you have your team mechanic!
@@balintgyulay425 King’s are awesome hubs. And I also like Industry 9, Hopes, and Hadley. Those are good quality hubs and are more user-friendly and don’t require proprietary bearings and tools

There was no attachment, im guessing after spraying the solvent he was just spinning the bearings so it would dry out quicker before applying the bearing lube
You do realize they have backups, right? First time seeing bike prep in a race setting? Or the current effing state of the air travel nowadays with missing luggages and whatnot. Heck even Jordi of Fox lost his bike and luggages in the airport. Some secret prototype stuff was lost. For more backgrouner, go watch Bernard Kerr's LSD, you'll see more than rim prep..
The intense pits had the best music
Love to watch this kind of technical behind the scene type videos !. Keep it coming ! 👍
Gwins frame looks moto / industrial inspired. Good work from design team I- Track Suspension!!
It is the ugliest Bike on Track!
What happened to the good old Intense Times?
Gwins mechanic is by far the best 😍

It looked like they still have bladder based damper on new boxxer rather than the ifp design with charger 3. 🤔
Gwins mech listening to Green Day is awesome!

4:28, is that gorilla tape?
What was the drill attachment used on that king hub and why?

Looks like new Boxxer with 38mm stanchions.
I think for a one time race run, prepare a bike with no grease on it. Bearings, bottom bracket etc. It'll roll faster
I love the commencal bikes ibws ponseeres by them on a grass roots program years ago but i wonder if that 5
wat
Isnt better bring the bike already built than start even puting tubeless tape on a rim?

Eddie van Halen brakes
They could spend 1/10th of the budget and still have 90% performance.
The pareto principle always applies, but 90% of the best time will put you in 16th place. The men's top 10 is only a few seconds apart.
