They asked if anyone had a request so I asked for Zorba, the guy rolled his eyes as if to say "oh not again" but they played it. Everyone stopped eating and began to tap the tables in tune with the music, then continued eating after. Great moments, wonderful atmosphere, unforgettable music. I love Crete and its people. Reminds me when I was a child and we would go to the the local Greek Festival every year and all have a wonderful time. Warm memories of my grandfather and his old Greek cronies sit around and argue about the “old country.” Everyone danced.
