So I was watching a couple of Emgo's latest videos and I've noticed he's stopped saying "swivel" and instead replaces it with "rotation". Sounds kinda weird to say "waist rotation" rather then "waist SWIVEL". I imagine this is all Jobby's fans fault lol
I thought editing these videos would be the hard part, but after I watched the raw making of video of this before it was removed I certainly appreciate more how much effort it takes.
This figure looks sick, honestly I always loved the rid15 Warrior class Grimlock, its small and basic since it's based on a cartoon, but it has decent articulation in dino mode and an opening jaw that isnt spring loaded, also theres an age of extinction recolor based on the original voyager class version, and it's a good figure if you like Grimlock

Had to buy a smaller Prime Master figure to have the discount apply, though. Seeing this figure makes me glad that I did *NOT* buy any Age of Extinction Grimlock figure in the past. If I do keep him, I'll have to contend with his transformation eventually.
This video pretty much highlights the virtues of this format. It definitely does stray from just being a straight toy-review-with-jokes into more of a comedy skit that also happens to be a toy review, but honestly? I think that's good. My initial skepticism was probably just how stiff it felt the first video or two, but you seem to be finding a good rhythm here. You get to spaz on camera, and you seem happier for it so it has the energy of the older videos and that's what makes you fun to watch in the first place.
Jobby, I definitely respect you for your tastes in the movies. But if you haven't seen anything from AOE, I would at least suggest you look up the brief fight Optimus had against Grimlock near the end. It would have been neat to hear your thoughts on Grimlock's spin-to-win transformation. It's also a legitimately good scene.
If you haven't reviewed Masterpiece Grimlock, you should give it a look. For the animated series, it is pretty much a perfect figure (if you ignore the scale, in which case you should look at one of the KO's that make it bigger).

I have the metallic version and it is my absolute favorite Transformer of all time(based on my favorite Transformers incarnation of all time, I'm so sad we'll never see a proper sequel to Fall of Cybertron), I look forward to a possible review. The studio series Grimlock looks really good even if the dino mode suffers quite a bit. I'm strongly considering DNA Design's upgrade kit.

Quick point out, the left arm has a slot at the armpits where it actually locks into place. You are supposed to not have that faux neck articulation at all and it kinda fills the gap at the bottom of the neck.
