Edge Innovate's World's largest portable Trommel, the Caterpillar powered EDGE TRM831 at Conexpo.

Peter Haddock met with Tom Connolly at Conexpo 2023 to discuss the machine and how the business works with Caterpillar and the global dealer network, including Finning Equipment Solutions, to support customers using the product.
Tom: "Screening material at 400 metres per hour, the TRM831 is unrivalled by any other machine in the market. And it delivers a really high quality product, thanks to the 180 degree radial fines conveyor. This machine's processing cost per tonne also ensures customers achieve better value for their business."
The Cat C4.4 Stage V engine delivers a maximum power of 150 kW, a maximum torque of 825 Nm at 1400 rpm and a rated speed of 2200 rpm.

Tom added: "The reason we keep choosing Cat engines is the reliability and recognition of our global customer base, and the Cat 4.4 engine is absolutely bulletproof."
"We also now fit the Cat telemetry system to our product range. This really helps our customers and the local Cat dealer, as they can all connect to our machines, understanding the health of the engines and service needs. It's also a great way of ensuring the high uptime they need to achieve."
