I have been making a scale model photographer for a model railway and using an Arduino Nano to simulate the camera flash using a flash program which repeats every 30 seconds. Could the sensor be used to detect when a model locomotive comes past the scale model photographer? How would the code be modified?

why u didnt use a resistor for the LED ?
@@sritu_hobby yea but why?? When I learn arduino they always teach to connect led with a resistor
I have been trying to do this code but in reverse so when an object is detected it turns on but otherwise is off. But for some reason it keeps going the opposite and is always on unless an object is detected. What am I doing wrong
