I watched him in the series 'The Killing' where he plays a cop who does weed sometimes and he really fit that role perfectly. I couldn't believe it was Joel when I first watched Altered Carbon, it seems like he really is a cameleon (when it comes to acting).

Joel Kinnaman is actually Jewish.
Judaism is a religion. Not a race. He has a nation and that's Sweden. And he doesn't look like a religious man.
His dad was American and so he spoke English all his life too.

Also in the first season it shows his other body and his who he was in his actual body so makes no sense for that reaction

The perfect sleeve would be Sebastian Stan (heart eyes.) Mackie would have to teach me to be sweet and funny like Seb, tho. My sense of humour's a little crass :( Thanks so much for bringing Mackie in for season 2, guys. I love love love the show. He'll put my fan love right over the top :)

I don't understand the sleeve thing. Do they only give a real person's body or is a DNA copy? Like in the beginning, the little girl was put in a old lady's sleeve because that was the only free one.
So the sleeve Tak was using was the real body of the cop who got framed? Dont understand how that sleeve was available for "lease".

They grow the bodies ie sleeves in chambers and then download their conscious which is stored as information in their stacks like one would download a computer program. And they can also back up their stored information as well just in case something goes wrong so their conscious wont be lost.
