- Hey! Just to clarify about the map, this is from Nightcloud's perspective, she will see things differently than how Crowfeather would and when I was originally working on this map I had forgotten a lot of events in the books since I hadn't read them in so long, so that's why Nightcloud comes off looking like the victim. I did not intend for this because overall Nightcloud wasn't the best character, especially towards Crowfeather. But once again I didn't want to just scrap this entire idea since parts had already been finished by the time I really remembered/was informed on how she really acted in the books towards him. I hope you can all still enjoy this map since a lot of hard work was put into it!
Heather follows Nightcloud and her emotions towards Crowfeather, this map is from her perspective so this is more a reflection of how she sees things rather than how they may have actually played out, so keep that in mind while watching. When I originally started hosting this map I had forgotten a lot of what actually happened in the books but I didn’t want to just scrap this idea when it was pointed out to me so while I don’t agree with Nightcloud’s actions at times I still think showing her emotions when she found out about Crowfeather having kits with Leafpool is interesting.

Its fine it was an extremely good and emotional map everyone did an amazing job
I think it makes sense actually since it’s from Nightcloud’s point of view, so even if she wasn’t 100% the victim in the books (do think she suffered but that’s another argument). My point just is in her eyes she is the victim so even if this isn’t her exact personality it makes sense since it’s how she sees it. Hope that makes sense
I like this map! And I do like teh perspective on this this an example of this kinda thing I do this all the time a write I write from 1 perspective and this is a great example thank god for this map! This is awesome! I’m not the only 1 that dose this! Yessss
Trust me as the biggest Crowfeather fan and the biggest Nightcloud hater I love this map its gorgeous.
in a way i kinda forgot how Nightcloud acted like until i reread power of three and crowfeather's trial so no worries! Everyone forgets sometimes!

Even if I dont like Nightcloud that much, I still sympathize with her. She blindly and naively got into a relationship with someone she knows very little about. Crowfeather did the same thing, wanting to prove himself to be loyal. They didn’t really love each other, Crowfeather obviously but Nightcloud more subtly since she only loved Crowfeather as a surface level image of what she wanted in a relationship. Because of this their relationship crumbled, leaving their son behind.
I find her character interesting, not really likable but interesting
@MapleFirework Well yes, the brown cat was Leafpool the medicine cat of Thunderclan, and it's kinda sad that Nightcloud found out that her mate had kits with a cat from another clan that is obviously breaking the rules. And as I can remember (possibly spoilers) Crow and Night broke their relationship but decided that both shall still act the same towards Breezepelt, I mean they shall still act like his parents, even If they are not in a relationship anymore. I'm bad at explaining hope u understand!

Can I just comment on how incredible the expressions are in this? Each part just expresses the characters’ emotions so perfectly, it’s just hit after hit after hit. It’s really heartbreaking and well done how hurt Nightcloud is by Crowfeather being aloof towards her and Breezepelt, so she imagines scenarios where Crowfeather and Leafpool are together and happy and feels jealous just based on what she pictures in her head and never tells Crow about how she feels. (I assume at least that the white background represents Nightcloud’s imagination) Also just seeing the contrast between crow being more standoffish and cold towards Nightcloud and when he’s with Leafpool being genuinely happy is really effective and well done. That end scene as well where after all the things Nightcloud constantly felt insecure about were confirmed to be true, she finally told Crow how she felt and he didn’t deny it or lie or anything, they just sat together with the distance between them that’s grown to be all that they know. And you can feel for both of them because Crow isn’t obligated to feel things he doesn’t feel, and Night just wants Crow to love her. Everyone did amazing, this MAP is stunning.❤️❤️❤️

It makes sense why this MAP paints her as the victim since it's from her perspective. She seemingly thought that Crowfeather's emotional absence and not loving her was an excuse for her horrible behavior, which in my opinion, it wasn't. In my eyes, it landed her on the same level as him.

2:05 I love how Breezepelt sees that his mother is hurting and turns to comfort her, supressing his own rage that Crowfeather caused. It is just so sweet and heartfelt and makes me even more angry at Crowfeather in general.

Absolutely, she always corrected breezepaw whenever he misbehaved while crowfeather would lash out without correcting the behavior. She's even seen helping and caring for lion paw, the whole "she hates leafpools children!" Thing is completely false, she also never voices her jealously, the only time she lashed out was when leafpool told crowfeather she still loved him, wouldn't you be angry if your husbands ex went on a rant about missing and loving them?

She dragged him off of Leafpool with claws unsheathed, immediately after Crowfeather flung Breezepelt off of Leafpool (who is an ENEMY WARRIOR CROSSING THE BORDER) “like a piece of prey”. Claws shouldn’t have been used, but I don’t blame Nightcloud for being angry in that situation.

Really the actual victim of the 'relationship' they had was breezepelt. Certainly didnt have a decent role model in either of them, not to mention watching them argue constantly and seeing how much they actually hated eachother caused some serious issues and he ended up manipulated by the dark forest
I thought I was the only one who thinks like that lol. Honestly, I believe Breezepelt would've been a better cat if Nightcloud and Crowfeather actually got along (Probably like remain friends but still has the job to raise Breezepelt). Even if Breezepelt acted like a spoiled, annoying brat, he deserves to have a better role model.

He tried to kill Jayfeather, a medicine cat, and a pregnant queen just for the shits and giggles. He might have been a victim as a kit but he chose to commit violence and he's as much a villain now as either of them are.
Breezepelt a victim? Oh please don't be silly. He joined dark forest villingly. He tried to murder everyone in clan who raised him. He turned his back on only cat that had some sort of connection to him, Heathertail. He tried to kill Jayfeather because they shared same father? And you say he is a victim?
Oh me, oh my! Do I love me a good Nightcloud or Crowfeather MAP! Although all three characters of their family are far from being any of my favorites, I still love 'em! I always love to analyze Nightcloud especially though, because of how flawed she is. The canon books usually try to paint her in a bad-ish light, but I always blame that on the fact we're usually reading through Leafpool and her kids' eyes whenever anyone talks about Nightcloud.
One of the aspects of this MAP I loved most and never thought of myself, is Nightcloud always thinking about Leafpool. It would make a lot of sense, especially since she always resents Crowfeather for that. But it also helps boost how much she hates Crow and Leaf directly after the Three's parents are revealed. It'd justify her thoughts.
Now, for clarification, I do not agree with most of Nightcloud's canon actions either. But you can 100% like characters, and also 100% not agree with their actions. Otherwise, nobody would be allowed to like a story's villains...... except horrible people......
The character expressions, the movement, the color scheme, the music, all fits perfectly into one beautiful masterpiece.
This is a really great map! Especially because people don’t really think about Nightcloud that much in the books.
Ok, I’ve been thinking that this song would be absolutely perfect for THESE EXACT SAME CHARACTERS and I was just waiting for someone to make a MAP! And it turned out beautifully! I love every single part of this, it’s absolutely amazing!
2:10 absolutely my new favorite MAP part, holy shit. I can’t stop replaying it, it’s just so amazing. The expressions and movements are so spot on! The betrayal Nightcloud feels, anger and pent up feelings Hollyleaf feels, embarrassment, frustration, and defensefulness Crowfeather feels, shamefulness Leafpool feels, shock their clan mates feel, and how pissed off Breezepelt feels. Nightcloud looking at him in disbelief, but also like she kind of suspected it all along and isn’t even extremely shocked. How she backs away from him. Crowfeather looking at all his clan mates like he is so annoyed because he thought he got past his drama with Leafpool and gained their trust again, and Breezepelt and he arguing because Breezepelt is letting out his anger for him and is defending his mom! JUST PERFECT!! Just… wow.
oh my goodness, the emotion in this map, every single participant did such a good job conveying the feelings and the animation in just stunning. wow
THIS IS EPIC!! The aspect of this map is phenomenal! This is what I call an high quality made map! Everyone did so good, I can't get over it!

This beautiful MAP shows that Nightcloud really did have feelings for Crowfeather. If only he opened up his heart a bit, they would’ve made a good couple. (In my opinion) I love this MAP and it made me realise that NightCloud isn’t that bad.
Well…Crowfeather is to blame for the relationship..he only asked her to be his mate with no feelings at all just to prove he was loyal and didn’t care for leafpool anymore…( which is untrue) crowfeather never had feelings for nightCloud luckily in crowfeathers trial Erin made up for it by making Crowfeather a better parent and nightcloud and him not being mates but being friends and agreeing that they will still be kind to their son and that it should not change anything between their son…I do feel bad for nightcloud she could have had someone actually love and care for her the way she did with crowfeather :(

Not really. She taught him to be the way he is. If anything she also contributed to his hate for his half siblings. She also lied to him and basically manipulated him. I don't think he sticked to his mothers side because he had a choice. Or that he was ever shown How Crowfeather is. Because of how she lied to him this map shows her perspective because she sees herself as someone she's not and Crowfeather as someone he's not. She let Breezepelt try to hurt others. She even physically abused Crowfeather.
(Do note. I am not trying to be rude if I sound so. It's just I've seen so many maps covering up what Nightcloud did to Crowfeather.)

Agreed, after all, I think crowfeather only used nightcloud as a way to prove his loyalty to windclan. NTM the community is pretty biased for crow, because he's a sad emo guy.

Nightcloud did use Crowfeather though when she didnt care for him (as confirmed in Cats of the Clans, she just wanted kits and knew he needed a way to prove his loyalty). She was also a senior warrior when he just became a new warrior

I sometimes think people forget that crowfeather was the one to encourage breezepelts hate towards thunderclan, that crowfeather has been seen repeatedly abusing breezepelt as an Apprentice, that crowfeather thought of breezepaw as a burden and that the only time nightcloud is seen actually snapping is when leafpool openly admits that she loves crowfeather
The main reason people dislike her is that she's seen clawing at crowfeather to get him away from leafpool. The thing is, crowfeather never expressed actual pain and there was not mention of him bleeding or actually being hurt

This map is just so beautifully expressive! I also love the idea that from Nightcloud's perspective, she's the victim. It when you hit that last scene with them side by side that you get the most honest mix of emotions. They're not fighting, but none of this is okay and they both know it.
She is not the victim, in fact we could say it is Breezepelt, his parents only got into a relationship for their own need, Crowfeather was only with Nightcloud to prove he is loyal and Nightcloud because she was looking to have a kit and know how it feels having a partner but both did wrong choosing someone they barely know. Breezepelt suffered all this time, his father barely loved him and his mother was no better treating him like a kit and manipulating him to make him hate his dad. As he watched his parents getting slowly more apart he obviously felt the he was, having a uncaring dad and a mad and jealous mom (and so he started training on the dark forest, all those feelings were enough to manipulate him to train there)

I don't mean that Nightcloud wasn't abusive or that she actually was the victim in all this. I understand she's terrible. Her relationships with Crowfeather and Breezepelt are terrible. As I said, from her perspective, she's the victim. A lot of abusers rationalize their abuse as necessary. "Oh, I wouldn't need to do these things if they just stayed in line." or "I'm the one being treated unfairly." Nightcloud's not going to see herself as the one in the wrong, and as far as we've seen she hasn't had the self awareness to identify herself as in the wrong.
I think the MAP is brilliant because it plays into her perspective, which is that everything is Crowfeather's fault. She's petty, jealous, and came into this relationship for the wrong reasons. But she doesn't see it that way. It isn't until the end that it seems to sink in that this problem is more than just Crowfeather potentially being unloving/unfaithful. That the whole relationship is bad.
Honestly, their relationship had nothing to do with love, she was only hurt because she was possessive over him..not in a love way but like a "i've claimed this, it's mine now" like with a object! Neither was perfect and their son suffered because of it.
I believe they both deserve better, I hope he found piece in starclan with leaf! and maybe she found a cute tom in starclan to date.

This MAP is one of the best ones that I have seen in a while because I feel like I can fully understand the Plot. I can tell which character is which without being confused with the designs and the facial expressions are so good in this!

Bruh this map is perfect all the animators who worked on it did amazing jobs and the song is perfect for it maybe this is what could've been going through Nightcloud's mind the whole entire time.
No one in Crowfeathers relationship (Crowfeather, Breezepelt, Nightcloud) were innocent, but none of them were villains either.

Breezepelt isn’t evil. Sure, he can kinda be a brat sometimes, but the dark forest manipulated him. It’s kinda like saying Ivypool is evil. Breezepelt is the victim in this situation, his father didn’t support him much from apprentice to warrior, only in Crowfeather’s Trial that he started getting support from his dad. His parents argued and that probably helped to make him a rude cat.
@@yarrowturkey And did you forget how he tried to murder Jayfeather and Poppyfrost? He is not a victim. He betrayed his own clan, family and only cat that loved him ( Heathertail ). Say whatever you want but he is not victim
@@Kaeya_simp_maid I do agree that the things he did were horrible and that he is a very evil cat, but he still is a victim in the relationship. Part of the reason he became like this was because of his parents arguing and crowfeather never being there for him
@@yarrowturkey I've actually read Crowfeather's trial And there He thinks about Breezepelt as a kit. Nightcloud said to Crowfeather " your playing Is too rough. You do this Wrong And this. " Because Breezepelt was only one surviving kitten from their litter. Nightcloud made Breezepelt think that his father hated him.

This is amazing. I haven't read warriors in about 4 years now (I'm 16), but this map brings me way back. I love the idea of an alternate perspective, and it's so beautifully emotional! All animators did an amazing job!
Ok the animation is AMAZING and I just want to say this was a great song choice for this character Nightcloud is a cat that i feel deserved better in life than what she got. Thx for doing this

I remember reading the Warriors series between the ages 9 and 10. I remember watching this map about a year ago, and I was blown away by the beauty and heartbreak. Now I’m 16, and man… this gave me chills. It was so nostalgic but in a good way, because I could relate- I had a crush on someone who liked someone else but we remained close friends. Nightcloud is often overlooked and frowned upon for being jealous and, yes, sassy, but there’s so much more to her story. Leafpool did steal the life she had always wanted with Crowfeather, whether she meant to or not. I love how this MAP portrays Nightcloud, and I’m very impressed with your animations from everyone who participated!❤

In my head part of Breezepelts reason to hate Crowfeather was because of how he treated Nightcloud, his only parent that really cared about him. I can picture cameos of Breeze and night comforting eachother when no ones looking, going out of camp to clear their minds and being able to bond over their shared feeling of neclection from the dark gray warrior.
