  • The first Volvo XC70 on 32's finally gets its first drive around the neighborhood. We Clearance fenders, radius body panels, add an automatic transmission cooler, remove the muffler, and MUCH more during this episode. All ending with a couple of miles added to the odometer.
Thanks to all the sponsors who have helped to make this project possible!

It's been over a month, Get us an update! 3 subs left until 1k!
Thanks to you and a few other YTers running XC70s for offroad, I've decided that my next major purchase will be a screw around XC70 with a ton of random mods. We have a S80 3.2 (mine) and XC90 V8 (wifes) and I really need to get something for amusement. First I need to replace her angle gear, then she'll probably get the latest gen XC90 in a year or two and I'll mess with the old one then. My S80 is likely going to go to my oldest daughter and I'll grab a S90 or V90CC when the time comes, or a V70R or S60R for shits and giggles. Content like yours gives me hope for doing something out of the ordinary with Volvos that not many people or places can or will do. Keep it coming!

Hey John, thanks for the words of encouragement! I am glad you're inspired (at least entertained) by my videos! I know it's been slow, and that's due to the rear suspension which is proving to be a bit trickier than expected, plus the holidays being very crazy. I will have a new XC500R video in the next few weeks. But first, there will be ANOTHER new project, and that one will 100% peak your interests... Thanks for watching! And let me know what you think of the new project once it's posted!

I am curious how much ground clearance you will have and what finished product will look like ...ipd did a one of a kind xc70 for SEMA and when i saw that i was so inspired to improve mine a bit...you could consider making body spacers for sale ,i believe you would suppliment your income ...bottom line i subbed and am extremely anxious to see finished product ... so far so awesome !!!

Yup. We have something in the works for that. I don’t want to mount it to the roof because they’re so heavy and it will take up space for garbage, and I don’t want to decimate the cargo capacity. It will be external, and I hope to get to it in the near future. Thanks for watching!!
