Have an 04 350 rancher 2x4 that I got for Christmas brand new when I was 12. Wouldnt mind upgrading one day. Always loved Honda's for their reliability. 16 yr old atv, been through hell and still going strong with no end in sight.
When i buy my 2021 Honda Rubicon 520 4x4 DCT im going to wax the panels with Meguires gold class. And use Meguires Ultimate interior Detailer on the plastic parts keep it looking new.
I remember last year you were saying Honda had something coming to replace the Rincon on the high end, is that still the case? When do you expect the 2021 Honda ATV lineup announcement?

My buddy just got the cam an Outlander 650. He's telling me the Honda don't have enough power at 518. But I like how the Honda is reliable and no belts. What are your thoughts on what I should get. Wife said to stay at 10 grand
lol I guess both of our parents have good taste then! It's hard to say as some people will think that the Foreman / Rubicon 520 models are underpowered but then on the flipside you'll have some that think they are just right or overpowered for what they need it for. It all boils down to the person as not one machine is going to make everyone happy. For a utility machine to take out hunting and ice fishing and raise some hell slinging it sideways here and there, the Honda 520 will be more than enough - for the average person. If you're not the average person though and you want something that will pull your arms out of the socket, then I would consider another brand. For me, I'll give up some horsepower in exchange for the boxes that the Honda can check, that the Can-Am can't. I'm not saying this is always the case but from my experience over the last 15 years of selling these. Friends that bring friends with them to purchase, usually end up helping their friend buy the wrong machine. The guy ends up going away from what he really wants because their friends are saying this or that and not really considering what he wants etc - if you get what I'm saying. I'm not saying don't listen to your buddy, just remember to take it with a grain of salt. He's going to be amped up on what he just bought like we all are when we buy something, no matter what it's the best thing in the world to us lol. The real testament to how much he loves it will come in a couple of years... I rambled on way to long lol but hope it helps at least a little bit ;)
Need a good honest test of the machine up ruff hills down hillsides,over soft wet ground,and trailer work,not around flat dusty trails,not everybody buys a quad to go somewhere you could on a mountain bike
Love the look of this, best shifter on the planet, Bombardier has such a lag and delay, this is instant.....mind you, it must be much better than my 2004:) Would anything that is of a similar power compare to this machine, 750's and 1000cc engines aside!
lol thanks for the laugh this morning! You're spot on though. These things are definitely not cheap by any means. If you would have asked me 10-15 years ago if we'd see a $10,000 ATV and $10,000 CRF dirt bike from Honda... I would have said you're crazy! But here we are lol. I'm not hating though, people want more and more technology in their toys which in return is going to drive up R&D costs that get passed along to the final MSRP of the bike etc. Thankfully you can still get a new bare-bones model relatively cheap though with the TRX420FM1.
Don't get the electric shift. Me and a lot of people are having problems with it, that Honda is not fixing. Would think they would have it perfected after make the es for more than 15 years.

Vale la pena es muy blandita la suspensión y un confort que no te lo da la Gorila 1000 Can am, te digo porque las comparamos mi primo y yo. Es muy placentero manejar una como esta moto, es una delicia de moto. Trae dirección asistida, no pajarea nada, en cambio la gorila no cabe ni en la arena de la playa ni en la terracería, pelea para ambos lados y te da mucha inseguridad de meterle más
This is all cool and everything, but the text overlays are coming and going so darn fast that the whole video is kinda pointless unless one is a professional speed reader.
It was originally meant for you to hit pause if it had something interesting that you wanted to read up on. I don't do videos like that any more though... You'll find that the most recent run of videos has me talking you through the information ;)
HondaPro Kevin It seems to me the 750 twin Kawasaki has found the limit of combining power with reliability. A 1000 Is great but it seems they have more issues because the engine is strong enough to break itself lol. Get my drift?? I see these Polaris and Can Am guys breaking axles all the time simply by being aggressive with the throttle. Engines get bigger but the drive system stays relatively the same and can’t handle the abuse from the big engine. So they stay tore up all the time. I think that’s why japan is reluctant to get into the HP war and ruin their reputation of reliability. But the Brute Force 750 has shown Honda and Yamaha that a v twin with reliability is possible. They just remain reluctant to do it To add to my point I think that’s the reason Polaris just came out with the new sportsman and scrambler that’s 55’ wide. Quads are going to have to evolve into a larger machine to house a larger more robust drive system to reliably handle these 1000cc engines. I personally prefer a smaller quad that you can throw around like the brute force . Sportsman are like riding a aircraft carrier lol. So if Honda did a 750 twin with a foot shift I would be standing at the door tommorow to buy one 👍🏼 I’m old school too. I grew up when a 300 Honda Fourtrax was top of the food chain lol. We did stuff on those things that kids wouldn’t dream of doing today without 1000cc lol. But if Honda could build a bulletproof 750 that’s small like original quads the power to Weight ratio or “ seat of the pants” ratio would be on the level of a heavier 1000cc. I know a brute force throws down so much power instantly and will hang with a 1000 for awhile simply because it’s not grown so large and heavy. I think a good power to Weight ratio is better than building a giant quad to reliably handle the HP. Kawasaki seems to have found it which is why it’s remained the same for so long. And no I don’t own a brute or never have. But that’s my observation after riding a few of them and the other 1000s. 0-40mph or so the 750 is just as strong as the 1000s. Honda could easily pull this off and sell them like hot cakes! My dream Honda would be a new quad that looks like the old yellow 400ex...but has a 750 twin, manual clutch, and 4x4! Basically a Honda version of a scrambler or Can Am renegade.
With bigger engines comes great responsibility. Lol. And of course to offset more power you have to have heavier duty driveline components, which in turn adds more weight. (;
