Hello Utkarsh! I’ve been following your live sessions since your first video, and I absolutely love them. You have an amazing way of bringing positivity to all your videos, whether you’re giving blunt reality checks or addressing uncomfortable questions with subtlety. I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts on dealing with failures, especially in a career context. Your story about mastering the English language was particularly inspiring, and I’m curious to know about the professional challenges you’ve faced and how you overcame them. Your insights would be incredibly motivating for those of us facing similar struggles. Cheers!
Hello Sir "Which type of calculator should one buy for the CFA exam: a professional or a regular model? Many say the regular model is better because it is, less expensive, and more than sufficient for all required functions during the exam. Considering this, which calculator do you recommend, and why?"
Hi Sir, I'm 22 going for an MBA from Baby/New IIMs or NMIMS Mumbai, giving CAT in Nov. Already gave my CFA L1 last month Aug 24 and also plans to complete all CFA levels. (MBA + CFA) My long-term goal is to move to USA/CAN before age 30, so I have 7-8 years to build my finance career in India. In those years which finance field should I focus on to increase my chances of landing a job abroad after I turn 30? ( PE, VC, IB, AM which one? )
I just gave L3 and waiting for result and I know for sure after watching your vdos from last 2 years what kind of knowledge you have but 18:52 it gave me goosebumps Utkarsh sir, seriously at this level this kind of humbleness and maturity. We see people in markets and finance where they are nothing but pretend to be like, they are only the market . Seriously salute man
Doing the same EOC and CFA PORTAL question multiple times is good, or doing different questions and November 24 L2 exam revision strategy, from when the mock exam is start
Hyy utkarsh sir, Giving L1 in nov Completed syllabus in august with kaplan Currently doing pratice pack & eoc questions for that revising through juice notes only Scored around 75% on candiate resources Should i go through the schewser once more or juice notes will be sufficient for further revision & mocks ?
Everyone is doing CFA or FRM, everyone is doing financial modelling, etc. (including me, am a CFA L1 Candidate - Nov 2024). What can one do to stand out from others?
Hello Utkarsh! I'm currently working in a co-operative bank in the retail loans, barely getting to learn anything new. I'm basically typing out the sanction notes manually after checking eligibility based on the policy. I have 5 months of experience here and around 1 year internal audit experience. How should I go about switching to core finance roles. I'm an L2 candidate
What entry level roles to target for Private Wealth. I have cleared CFA L1 exam ,looking for job in Private Wealth , want to explore opportunities around succession ,estate planning or wealth mangement for super wealthy. What should be the strategy?
Hi sir. I’m a fresher and a cfa level 2 candidate. This is a little off topic but I have this urge to give upsc. I’m a bit hesitant because I know that 2-3 years of my life could go down the drain, the opportunity cost is too high. And also I have a lot of materialistic goals which is not a good mentality to have for a government officer. I know you have appeared for the exam too and I would love to hear your opinion. Thanks
Hi sir I’m a student at Fintree. I wanted to ask if you manage portfolios for individuals. I would love the opportunity to invest with you. I have a decent amount of capital that I’m looking to invest. Pls guide…
Sir, I have cleared CMA (India) Intermediate, but feel it's not as recognized as CA. To appear for the Final, I must complete a 15-month mandatory training. However, I'm considering CFA for its global recognition and better career prospects. In your previous videos, you mentioned it's not worth pursuing multiple degrees. Should I continue with CMA or switch to CFA? I feel lost and would appreciate your advice on how to proceed. Thank you.
