The integration of the diverse culture in this region is due to introduction of the much of the student population that call this area home. Sandy Hill provides various housing options from single family homes, rental units, apartments and condos that can accommodate a wide spectrum of income levels.
Because of the development process throughout the years, there are plenty of things you can do in Sandy Hill such as visiting any one of the following locations, Strathcona Park, the Sandy Hill Park and Community Centre, Saint German Park, and finally Robinson Field. Additionally the OC Transpo has routes throughout the area that connect with downtown and the convenient shopping found at Rideau Centre and the ByWard Market.
