6 years old and it still rocks. THis is what I lvoe about c4d and how After Effects and adobe now dissapoints. This would be a pain to script in AE but c4d has amazing controls!
Save my life man! I also find out the Offset repeat is very useful too! if your object need to keep move forward but hard to setup a loop! Like a spinning gear, I can setup moving angle per frame, than that will keep spinning and no need to calculate when is the end point! etc making a clock.
Hey pixel lab, im making a short film rn im using that tutorial for a walk cycle. but when i put it to repeat, the standing animaiton i had put, it repeats the walk cycle after finishing the standing animation? anyway you know how i can fix this? would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Im looking for a way to adjust the formula field to a desired time but still have the seamless loop. Formulas are tricky. What value do I need to change?
Thanks for this but for walking/running animations, this doesn't work as it will take the character back to it's starting position instead of it running straight forever. How would you loop a running character?
you should animate the person waking in one place and then later keyframe the whole object in position, with the right speed so it looks smooth. i think this is the easiest way to animate a walking cycle
In the section he said about "Before" and "After" you select "Offset Repeat" but instead you animate the displacement in the null that contains the whole character.
Question is how to do the same thing, if I want between each repetition some frames of no movement. I guess I'll be forced to create a ton of keyframes. :\

Such an easy elegant solution versus using time effectors and fields.
Thank you so much!
