You know the ones... Sweaty Clam, Flynn Theory, Cartoon Seth, Ballow, and so on...

you know, i was initially gonna leave a comment blaming TH-cam for pushing these AI channels as being the reason for why I've tried to mimic them, but you're completely right. I chose to try and take the easy path to success, and I can't blame anyone for that but myself. 5 years from now, I'd rather be compared to creators like LS Mark or Blooms, whose voices have a purpose, rather than generic Family Guy summary channels. So thanks for the reality check :)
Also for the record, I dont use AI, I've just always been really bad at writing lol

Honestly, thank you for informing me. I was ignorant. I had no idea that these guys were just AI generated channels. I am 100% going to stop watching their videos and ask TH-cam to not recommend their channels anymore. I want people who work into their craft not somebody who is too lazy to do what you and so many other TH-camrs put time and effort into doing

AI is the bane of life. AI voice overs piss me off, AI scripts are just terrible. It’s all that pops up. Make it stop!!
Oh my god, I’ve been trying to avoid AI slop as much as possible, I can’t believe I fell for this. It’s hard to trust smaller channels these days because there’s always a chance that this channel getting their “big break” is just an AI trying to trick me into believing it’s some underrated, new channel.
I think Sweaty Clam and Flynn Theory are real people, if not simply because they were a few of the first, and to me it read as simply wanting to talk about their favorite adult cartoons and share them with their audience. Even that "Good Tips Every Day" guy seemed more legit at least to me cause I've never seen a content mill channel have a "favorite character," and his seems to be Quagmire. That feels too specific for someone who isn't just a huge fan imo, but I could be totally wrong about all of this since it's gotten easier to fake this kinda 'persona' nowadays

I’m open to criticism, but where in this video are you showing that my videos are AI? I literally use 0 AI in my videos with the exception of upscaling images for the thumbnail. Hope this clarifies!
Now clarify the part where your videos are almost entirely just recaps of Family Guy episodes with barely any commentary added. How do you justify stealing your content from the writers of Family Guy and profiting off of it?
Also I still need some clarity here - how is it that all of these channels have the same script and editing?
@@slushhhhhLike I said, I’m open to criticism on the actual content. I do believe I give a good amount of personal commentary throughout, but this is something I’ll try improve further in the future!
As for other channels copying the format, I’m not sure what that is to do with me. I’m sure some of those DO use AI, I’m just clarifying that I don’t. This format has been around a long time, originally made by MustardPregnancy and Maximo Esco.

nah this is some early signs of dystopia type garbage, i even started to see EVEN MORE BLATANT trash on shorts sometimes when im scrolling, whole short streams where its literally other people's skits just over ai images of animals, absolute slop 💀

Content farm AI-enabled channels like the ones you mentioned are horrifying to me. I feel like they pose an existential threat to even the very idea of creativity and commentary.

Like, they see other creators and have realized what they do and just do the same.
That's how it's always been on the internet.
Essentially I see this as just a variation of the commentary channel epidemic.

God youtube is a hellscape riddled with AI now and it's ESPECIALLY horrid when it comes to shorts.
I swear there are like 10.000 different channels that only upload AI voiceover for reddit stories and no matter how many times you say to youtube to never give you this channel again another one will pop off because they are so low effort!
I am once again thinking about one of the creators of Midjourney and how he was saying AI is the pathway to an utopia and all I see is slob and shitty products everywhere I look.

Oh, wow. Someone is talking about this already. Some of them are pretty good though, but you can tell it's obviously an AI narrator. Eventually, i got to just tell YT to stop recommending them to me. 😅

Dude, you are not the only one ho finds these channels annoying, I hate seeing these, especially because half of them are just so damn obvious, the thing I like about original creators like you is that they have the creativity to come with good and viable predictions about new shows and episodes, and create constructive criticism unlike AI

Part of the problem is that Good Cartoon Review channels are very rare, since most are shit like your attempt to list good channels ; Jhonny 2 Cellos ; LS mark ; Blooms ; (unaware of Lydia to be fair) ; Are some of the worst youtube channels in general that I can think of, often low quality shit with bad politics sometimes, unbearable. These Channels succeed since they fulfill the category of decent background content, when the well of content is empty or full of shit. No Commentary is better than bad commentary.
Not a fan per se of the content farms, but can defiantly see why they are more liked than the crappy channels mentioned above.
